Trend Hotel at LAX Airport

Was clean and roomy

I love the location, and close to the airport too and it was convenient with everything you need. I had to book this hotel 2x for our trip coz it was the most affordable one. Yeah you could hear noises from the road but when you’re tired from sightseeing the whole day? It wont matter lol.

I was skeptical about booking this hotel but I had to book this hotel 2x on our trip since they have the most affordable rate, not only that, it was convenient to everything you need and close to the airport. It was a bit noisy outside but hey when you’re tired from sightseeing around the whole day? You’ll be fine.

I arrived around 2:30pm, and immediately he states “check in is at 3pm” and I respond “I know but can I at least pre register?” He says ok. Gives me a room key in a used packet. I get saving resources but how much can a room key holder cost. Get to the room, and smells like smoke even though it’s “non smoking”. Bed and sheets look clean but everything else is worn down. The bathroom looks old and dirty. The door wouldn’t work without forcing it to open or close, and had stains all over it. Used roll of toilet paper almost done. I stayed one night but didn’t shower and left early morning because it just felt dirty overall. If you’re only looking for a place to stay overnight to not sleep in your car then book this place. On another note, the maintenance guy working outside was really nice and greeted. Also the guy working overnight, he helped me with my key after midnight.

They charge me $20 cash for a second vehicle, I have never had to pay for a second vehicle at any other hotel.

The room was clean, some stains on the sheets and blankets (maybe white top covers isn’t good). When we turned the AC on and left, came back and room smelled like doodoo, not sure if it was the sinks or the AC, which was yucky. The ice machine had NO ICE, AT ALL!!! There was no sign stating this, and there was only one machine (there was another in the corner, not plugged up). It was OK. Enough to sleep and shower and leave!!

This is a positive little boutique Hotel the people are lovely and very kind and has a great vibe especially with the cool art on the wall.

The room was clean and put together. There was a man that tried to get me to pay $101 for the room as a security deposit when Booking.com didn't state that I had to pay. I had also checked my email receipt, it didn't say anything about a security deposit. Once I told him that, he said that it was fine and I could be on my way. I really feel like he tried to scam me!

All the amenities were available. The staff is cool, bed is comfy and the room is clean.
