Comfort Inn & Suites Hazelwood - St. Louis

Outdated hotel & the room door had large gap all around that hallway light was streaming in. Practically didn’t need a night light.

The hotel needs updating. The door to my room had gaps on all sides & a lot of light streaming thru.

The property looks better online than it does in person. Staff will just stare you as a guest. Breakfast was okay. It consisted of two waffle makers, eggs, pork sausage, biscuits, and potatoes. All cooked in the microwave. My biggest complaint would be the lack of cleanliness. During my stay I watched the housekeeper walk around the facility with the same blue gloves he had on cleaning out the rooms. I watched him touch the door handles, elevator buttons, and also enter the kitchen where they prepared breakfast. The same housekeeper came to my room asking if I needed housekeeping and when I opened the door he tried to hand me “clean” towels while he had on the same blue disposable gloves (which had holes in them btw) that he had on cleaning previous rooms! I’m 100% sure that they are not changing gloves in between rooms. I also witnessed them wipe down the breakfast bar with a makeshift rag.

It wasn’t a terrible place to stay but there were little things in each room that weren’t great such as the shower head spraying the wall in one room, the toilet in another making noises when refilling with water, the outlet in one room chirped constantly, and the a/c quit in another room. The pluses to the property was the breakfast, the staff was pleasant and it was clean.

Room was dirty and needed updating/repairs. Dirt along the walls and sprayed liquids on pictures and bathroom walls. No blankets on the beds, just a sheet and light bedcover. Air conditioner was loud, but worked well. Think bath towels. Morning breakfast eggs were clearly packaged. Grounds outside had trash and parking lot is ill kept. Rough area of town.

For my visit the location The rooms were old and outdated. The property was cheaply renovated. Sheets dirty, floors in rooms dirty. The refrigerator knocked and buzzed all night.

This is NO COMFORT INN AND SUITES!! It is like putting lipstick on a pig (or a Motel 6 or the like). But they charged us like it was a real Comfort Inn - $144 with taxes). We didn't want to commit because we got stuck behind a few different accidents and the rate went up remarkably by the time we arrived. The building, the parking lot, the room, the breakfast- all dilapidated and low end. Given that Comfort Inn is allowing this place to be in their chain, I will never stay at another. Honestly, I felt betrayed and disgusted by the experience.

Pool very cloudy.

Is run down and the rooms are not clean. The last persons who occupied that room toothbrush was still in the room… the room only included 2 big towels and one to put on the floor. The linens disgusting and stain. I wish I could include pictures which I took. Don’t book here it’s not worth your nerves being wrecked from the conditions of this property. Try Sunset Hills location

The breakfast was very pedestrian I have had much, much better in a great many hotels. The first room we were given was very unclean and in the bathtub there was a stain that looked like the residue of bodily fluids. I was under the impression that I had reserved a two queen bed suite with Bookings but the staff at the hotel gave me another story.

Enjoyed the stay. And the breakfast was very good.

Breakfast was not what was expected; expected more. Furniture old and outdated, table where I tried to work, wobble wobble, and overall room appearance was not good. Shower/bath missing tiles. I took pictures and videos. I am a member and I am not satisfied. Furniture old, wobbly and dented/scratched. Refrigerator had to be unplugged and re-plugged several times due to the loud noise of it running. Bathroom tiles in shower missing. Quality of food, coffee.
