Comfort Inn & Suites Hazelwood - St. Louis

We only stayed for a few hours to get some sleep but the guy at check in was very nice, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable

HORRIBLE hotel. No services, and illegal activities on property.

Everything was blah. Complicated check-in. Bed was comfortable but smelled like a wet dog or mildew. Dropped something behind the bed and found trash. Breakfast options were few. Oh and a 100.00 hold is ridiculous. But it was one night and we roughed it.

Don’t book this hotel my sheets still had nut stains on them the door latch was broke the bathroom light/fan broke every time I try to turn on the light, the bathtub had dark marks all over the tub, the shower faucet had rust on it.

Stayed over the 4th of July weekend, It was a nice hotel, clean, peaceful. Breakfast was okay but same options everyday.

Paid $290 for two nights and it is at most a $50 a night hotel. Very dirty, old, and not well maintained. Breakfast was good though.

We didn't take advantage of breakfast, so I cannot comment on it. We were able to sleep in the bed, however there were quite a few flaws in the room. The chair had a questionable stain on it, we didn't sit in it. The desk chair was broken, we didn't sit in it. The bathroom door didn't close properly, and the shower didn't drain out right.

Outdated hotel & the room door had large gap all around that hallway light was streaming in. Practically didn’t need a night light.

The hotel needs updating. The door to my room had gaps on all sides & a lot of light streaming thru.

The property looks better online than it does in person. Staff will just stare you as a guest. Breakfast was okay. It consisted of two waffle makers, eggs, pork sausage, biscuits, and potatoes. All cooked in the microwave. My biggest complaint would be the lack of cleanliness. During my stay I watched the housekeeper walk around the facility with the same blue gloves he had on cleaning out the rooms. I watched him touch the door handles, elevator buttons, and also enter the kitchen where they prepared breakfast. The same housekeeper came to my room asking if I needed housekeeping and when I opened the door he tried to hand me “clean” towels while he had on the same blue disposable gloves (which had holes in them btw) that he had on cleaning previous rooms! I’m 100% sure that they are not changing gloves in between rooms. I also witnessed them wipe down the breakfast bar with a makeshift rag.

Nice pool, great breakfast, friendly staff. We will definatley use this hotel.again

It wasn’t a terrible place to stay but there were little things in each room that weren’t great such as the shower head spraying the wall in one room, the toilet in another making noises when refilling with water, the outlet in one room chirped constantly, and the a/c quit in another room. The pluses to the property was the breakfast, the staff was pleasant and it was clean.

Room was dirty and needed updating/repairs. Dirt along the walls and sprayed liquids on pictures and bathroom walls. No blankets on the beds, just a sheet and light bedcover. Air conditioner was loud, but worked well. Think bath towels. Morning breakfast eggs were clearly packaged. Grounds outside had trash and parking lot is ill kept. Rough area of town.

The gym and swimming pool was amazing Location kind of far from the city

For my visit the location The rooms were old and outdated. The property was cheaply renovated. Sheets dirty, floors in rooms dirty. The refrigerator knocked and buzzed all night.

This is NO COMFORT INN AND SUITES!! It is like putting lipstick on a pig (or a Motel 6 or the like). But they charged us like it was a real Comfort Inn - $144 with taxes). We didn't want to commit because we got stuck behind a few different accidents and the rate went up remarkably by the time we arrived. The building, the parking lot, the room, the breakfast- all dilapidated and low end. Given that Comfort Inn is allowing this place to be in their chain, I will never stay at another. Honestly, I felt betrayed and disgusted by the experience.
