Overall I was pleased
-
Disliked: loud Bathroom fan did not stop working. Staff had to be called to unplug it.
-
I'll be back in a few weeks.
-
Did not like that ~45% of my bill was taxes and fees, including a $20 parking fee and $18 tourism fee. The hotel was good, though not exceptional. Staff were fine, neither unfriendly nor friendly, nothing outstanding as far as customer service.
-
Great bed, ok breakfast. HVAC fan on the noisy side.
-
Modern, clean, friendly staff. Several annoying room facilities. Items not working properly and needing replacing.
-
The hotel staff at check-in were excellent--efficient, friendly and helpful. They set the tone for our visit.
-
Size of the room and cleanliness. During the first night of our stay our air conditioning system was broken. The temperature in the room was 78 degrees. They offered us a fan. The windows opened up about 2 inches. The ac was repaired the next day.

The staff was amazing. The room was perfect and clean. Not crazy about the parking and other fees. Couldn’t call my father in room 219! Never went through or he never heard it ring. He is hard of hearing but it is supposedly a hearing accessible room! Breakfast was average. Not special. Coffee was outstanding. We enjoyed our stay! Close to everything!!

Trio was a wonderful, comfortable place to stay albeit not super close to the downtown area, so the regular shuttle service was quite handy! There is also a walking trail straight to the plaza and it's a block from the 101. The room was generously sized with a functional kitchen, very cozy mattress, and bonus common areas such as daily breakfast space, lobby/living room for gathering, outdoor areas with fire pits, BBQ's and even a evening happy hour with visiting wineries. I loved that Trio is right across from Big John's gourmet marketplace with either cooked or grillable food, fresh salad bar, vast cheese and wine selections and more. I would definitely stay here again! The hotel room rate should be sufficient to offer free parking. There is plenty of space there and I don't like being dinged for parking. I ended up using street parking instead which felt silly for $300+ per night room.

Good breakfast

The staff was really friendly and helpful. We loved the little market so we could get a few necessities on-site (and the wine for purchase + self-serve wine bar was a plus!). The pool is heated perfectly and really lovely. The rooms are well-appointed and super comfy - the only thing I wish the hotel provided was some lotion with the rest of the shower products! Breakfast was delicious, with options for everyone, and coffee service that started at 5; that was useful for me traveling solo with kids! The smart TV was great for our evening entertainment, and we loved walking across the street to the grocery and Plank Coffee. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area!
-
The 16% tax in Healdsburg is an ouch but this hotel tried to balance it with some nice perks like a free shuttle, wine pour and the breakfast was outstanding.
-
The breakfast was ok better than some but def. not great. The area was clean though and serviced well. They had a decent continental selection and a few hot dishes.
-
The breakfast was great, the room was spacious and clean, and the staff was so friendly.
-
There is also no daily housekeeping. If I had know both of these things I would have chosen a different location.
-
Great choice of hotel, have stayed at most others in the area including the lodge, and while the Lodge is a little nicer for couples with the decor and fireplace, Trio is better for families with much larger rooms with kitchenette. Pool was actually warm which for CA is rare, but bird poo in communal areas because of endangered species. Breakfast isn't bad but Black Oak in town is better.
-
The pool was the perfect temperature. We wished there was a hot tub though. That would have been really nice to hangout and relax or a nice seating area with fire pits. The hotel breakfast was really good and had some nice options. The shuttle to downtown was super convenient to be able to take back and forth for dinner and not worry about parking. Overall it was a very good experience and I would stay here again.
-
Beautiful property & well maintained, love the complimentary shuttle to the plaza
-
The kitchen had what we needed for a non cooking stay.
