If you're the type of person who enjoys sitting in a metal trash can while random people whack it with an aluminum bat, this is the place for you. The compliant fire doors on every room slam shut, no matter how hard you try to do it quietly. If a neighbor has a visitor that knocks on their door, you feel it in the floor or walls. You can hear conversations (I knew my neighbors were going to the weight room to work out before the next World Cup game). The windows do little to block noise from common areas. So the hotel can be clean and the bedding comfortable but the staff can do nothing about the loud hallways (the doors need some felt or foam insulation on them, as they not only transmit sound, they're blazingly bright). The smoke detector in the room flashed brightly several times a minute right over the bed. The blackout curtains had multiple tiny holes that looked like buckshot when waking at 5 am with first light. Not a hotel for anyone who wants to sleep. I also booked a double queen and ended up with a single king. I checked in a 4pm on a Thursday and they said they could do nothing as the other rooms were reserved (though not checked in). They said that they saw that was my "preference" and I believe I paid more (though nominal) for a double.

Reserved 2 queen beds and they decided to “upgrade” us to a King. 2 adults and a teen. Not happy and refused partial refund when contacted by me and Expedia who I booked under. Breakfast was far from good. Bacon undercooked and eggs not even heated well. Only went to that town to buy some merch from Smile More Laundry and Tan.

This hotel was clean, beautiful. The staff was friendly in the breakfast was great.

Pool was "broken" our whole stay. We were there for a sports tournament with a teenage son and his team. They had nothing to do for 4 days. We should have been informed and refunded a portion of our stay.

No tissue or coffee maker in room. Body wash in shower low and ran out.

Door dead bolt was in the open position keeping the door propped open, bathroom cleaning looked like it was interrupted as the surfaces had been sprayed but not rinsed. Wrong times provided for the breakfast. Overall a very meh! experience.

Room was ok. Water was lukewarm warm. Stairs were not cleaned for at least a week. Potato chips smashed into the carpet. Breakfast was OK but did not start till 6:30 AM.

I reserved a two queen bed suite when I arrived I was told their queen suites where all taken in fact, they told me that all the rooms that had two queen beds were all booked. I told him that I had reservations for over a month that I couldn’t have just a king bed. I had my daughter and granddaughter staying with me. after 15 minutes I was put in a room with two queen beds no mirror in the bathroom no towels. I’m not even sure the room was clean before we got in there other than the beds were made our whole stay we had to get our own towels ,the room even though we wanted it clean never got cleaned. We stayed for 4 nights. The water never got warmer than warm. All I can say is they told me it was first come first serve who gets what room that if you reserve a room, it doesn’t matter if you arrive and that room is not available so be it you get whatever they give you so I’ll never go to a Holiday Inn express again.

As a person who works with business center / productivity hub software, I would suggest working with your provider as the PCs weren't up and running. These items could be monetized as digital signage to connect guests with local amenities, advertise using rewards for upgrades, etc.

May 23rd, 2026, my wife and I were verbally accosted by the The Morning day Front dask man attendant who checked in for his hotel shift time after 7 am. I already wrote a review and let all of you know what occured. I do not want to get into what occured again, I wrote it on your website very early Saturday morning after 7 am. I am sure you all have the report I wrote then on file.The front desk man does not encompass hospitality. He goes by the beat of the customer is wrong and he is right with verbal hostility, so early in the morning, was alarming after we could not sleep all night because of the smell. The front desk man was alerted of the review I wrote on your website instantly. He used the, I am kicking you out of the hotel card, so he would avoid a bad review of himself. He was so verbally hostile, so upset about the review I wrote, He called up our room and said he was kicking us out, and he called the police, and he said there were no rooms to switch us to when there were rooms available on line ready for reservations while deflecting/gaslighting us, changing true story to save his job. The Police never showed up, I was calm, we packed up our things and were out in 15 minutes. When we walked out of our room the housekeeper said are you checking out, I said yes. We pre paid this reservation,had 2 days left on it. This has ever happened to me ever before. When we got to lobby, front desk was very empty, The night manager was absolutely kind had hospitality.

The breakfast was below average this time.

The place was clean, people were nice, and the breakfast was good.

The night time front desk manager was SO welcoming and made me feel safe immediately! There were crumbs both under the top sheet AND on top between that and the comforter.

Room was clean and breakfast was great. The water from the shower was barely warm and should have more than two towels in the room.

It was a quiet place so didn’t need it. Overall, terrific HI Express.
