Very poor

It was quiet and very relaxing. The 1st room we were in had a puddle of water behind the TV stand and all the electrical cords were in it.
-
I didn’t like that the house keepers didn’t knock before entering

The sheets were dirty, got moved to another room and room was dirty. Was told there were not more rooms on the 1st floor but after they moved me out of the room with the dirty sheets, I saw 10 rooms on the 1st floor that were empty. Don't appreciate being lied to. Not one that I will waste my money on again!!!

First of all be careful when looking up the address to this lodge, the GPS took up 20 minutes away from the actual hotel. My mom and I ended up in the middle of the woods headed down a one way gravel dead-end road in the mountains in the middle of the night. Once we were able to back out of this road (a very scary experience by the way), we searched for the hotel by name "Econo Lodge" the same location was presented. I finally went through my account and was able to click on a link to the lodge and was directed another 20 minutes to the actual motel. We arrived around 3 in the morning and the goal was jut to get a shower and a few hours of sleep before we got back on the road. Upon arriving at the nighttime window, the man working tried to tell us that we didn't have a reservation, I told him we did indeed have a reservation for that night and he argued with me that they don't honor reservations after midnight. I again retorted that I had made this reservation weeks ago when planning this trip and he finally went to check the computer where he did find our reservation. he did apologize for the mistake and took a room deposit. We took our stuff up to our room and by this time it is about 3:30am. Our room smelt like sweat and strongly of mildew. The toilet handle was broken, it would flush but the toilet was running the whole time. There was no shower curtain so we couldn't take a shower. There was what looked like peanut butter smeared on the floor of bathroom and dirty room.

Questioned me multiple times and charged me for my Service dog which is illegal. Never asked me for paper work or a card once. I checked out at 11:10 and they were going to keep my whole deposit because I wasn’t out at 11am. Since I went inside and asked for a receipt she refunded half of it back because I complained. When I was asleep I was awoken by a cockroach crawling up my arm. Room smelled like bug spray. I live in hotels year round for work. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at.

Very unclean. Would not even use the shower or walk on the floor without my shoes. Very noisy and the entire room smelled like smoke.

Superb

Nasty unhelpful man at the front desk that charged a $50 deposit because the reservation was made on Booking.com. Then he would not take $50 cash to pay for it, and insisted on using a credit card. The room was below average in condition.

Nothing. It smelled. The first room was a smoking which I understood would smell but it was very very nasty. Then that room was moved to a non smoking which he said wouldn’t matter because people smoke in them all. That room then smelled like urine. He also put us next to some people doing drugs and they left literally saying “I hope I score”. We didn’t even stay. I sent my husband and kids to McDonald’s and my mom and I went to best western.

Breakfast was fair. No half n' half for my coffee. Staff could have been more helpful. Didn't like that I had to pay $50. Deposit after already paying for room.
