Escape Inn Hershey

About an 8 minute drive to Hershey park.

Stayed one night while visiting Hershey Park. It was perfect, close to many amenities and affordable.

Clean room, comfy beds and an extremely affordable rate... It's the perfect place!

Clean rooms. Staff was very nice and helpful

Also, the remote was extremely and oddly tacky. Quite disgusting.

Not at all ritzy, but clean and comfortable and right next door to a great greek restaurant. Free Tesla charging was excellent as were all staff members.

I really would like to alert the staff of this hotel to one very alarming thing. When we first checked in, my husband and I wanted to take showers. He went first and came out and said he almost slipped and fell because the tub was so slippery it was like an ice-skating rink. There was no mat or any other anti-slip devices. I was so scared I decided to forgo the shower. I would strongly advise correcting this, so they don't get sued. The only other criticism is there was no coffee. Travelers like coffee in the morning. But this is a decent hotel if you are on a budget. Just be careful in the bathroom.

My room was clean. Housekeeping is not done every day.

Room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioner worked well. Ample parking. Stairs weren’t safe. Use the elevator. Price was reasonable. Convenient to Hershey Chocolate World.

We planned to stay here for our visit to Hershey for a concert at the stadium. We arrived on Saturday at 3 PM and we were informed the concert was rescheduled to Sunday evening instead. We spoke with the front desk as we had to return back home for our son & cancel our reservation. The front desk was no help at all and told us “good luck, you can’t cancel”. We reached out to support where we booked the hotel and they had to talk with the hotel for a week to determine if we could get a refund of any kind due to the circumstances. After a week, they declined to give us any refund even though we didn’t check into the room at all. We informed the front desk we weren’t checking in.

Perfect little stay while visiting Hershey park, right down the road, clean, good value !

The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. The shower water flow is strong. The outside is a little dated and full of bugs at night. I wish they had more of the bug zapper lights to kill some of them

Excellent as always. Rooms and property are always spotless clean. Shower, A/C and tv work properly as always. FYI me and my family went to another (different) hotel this night and was absolutely disgusted buy it’s lack of cleanness. About 15 minutes later at 8:30 at night we re-booked at Escape, and as always we were thrilled with everything. Will not be staying anywhere else again!!

Rooms have microwaves, decent size fridge and the AC unit was new and super cold. It might look bare bones on the outside but once you get in your room it’s a heavenly oasis.

Do not get deceived by a surprisingly high rating by Expedia. This is a great place to stay if you’re out of options and need four walls and a roof over your head for the night. The beds were likely purchased at a lumber yard they’re so stiff. During the night we could hear a rodent chewing on something behind the entertainment center and if that wasn’t enough to keep you up, the adjacent commercial properties get their dumpsters emptied at 530am, 545am and 6am. The room could’ve been cleaner but was reasonable for the price, the staff seemed friendly, and we did feel safe overall. So, if you like an unforgiving bed and waking to the sultry tones of waste management then you’ve found the right place!
