We had a party of 5 and they upgraded our room so everyone had their own bed. Very friendly staff, and the beds were very comfortable. My kids loved the ducks! They hotel was in the middle of remodeling so our room looked like it was rushed to get ready, you could tell that some of the worked wasnt up to speed yet.

They are renovating the property and the updated rooms are nice. The complimentary breakfast was good with plenty of options. The location is great and is close to restaurants as well as Hersheypark & the outlets.

Very disappointing especially when you Paid $309 for one night and receive a room that has 2 sliding doors to the bathroom and neither lock. The shower ceiling was torn down with water stains and black mold, coffee stains on the bed frame, the main door to our room sounded and acted like it shut but with a little pressure anyone could have pushed it open. The hotel was doing a cheap remodel and everything was everywhere, the hallway had cable/cords hanging from ceiling every few feet, The elevator stopped working because the button had gotten jammed causing it to think someone was there, outside looked a hot mess and junkie, The breakfast was good and staff was friendly . We do NOT recommend staying here. The price and quality did not match.

Great hotel had delicious breakfast and good sleep

It was under construction and I wasn’t made aware when I made the reservation. The common areas/check-in and breakfast spot looked terrible with boxes and boxes of furniture stacked to the ceiling, exposed wires, broken ceiling tiles and paint stains on the floor and the walls. The pool was cloudy/not clean looking. The shower head in the bathroom was obviously not correctly installed and leaked to the point where we feared it would explode on us. There were countless obvious signs of MAJOR construction to the point where it didn’t feel safe to use the elevator (which we noticed stopped working at times with people in it while we were eating breakfast) or be in certain areas (ex: bucket collecting dripping ceiling liquid in the breakfast area). We looked it up after checking in and noticed that according to other reviews this hotel has been under construction for a while… please make sure (Expedia) to alert people of that fact before booking. The only three things that we thought were positive was the front staff, the dozen ducks that greeted us in the parking lot and the strawberry waffle mix for breakfast.

When trying to check out I was told by 3 staff that they cant help me only the manager could. When I asked where she was they said they would look for her and looked in one spot then come back to their desk. After about 30 min of waiting I just left.

Everything was fantastic. Our room was newly renovated and perfect. I was delighted to find a hotel with a family room option and not have to worry about the availability of adjoining rooms. Every staff encounter was extremely pleasant. Breakfast was pretty standard but good. Yes, it was clear there were renovations taking place but that in no way had any kind of negative factor in our stay. Honestly, if you are going to complain about a hotel making renovations, you should take your business elsewhere!! This hotel was wonderful from start to finish. Super close to everything we were in town for (HersheyPark, chocolate world and the Guns N Roses concert). If looking for a close local place to eat, Arooga's was amazing for a later evening bite and The Soda Jerk for lunch - Cat was amazing!! Do not let the negative reviews sway you because of the renovations, the updated rooms are well worth it, I imagine once finished this hotel will be absolutely beautiful!! Almost forgot, the welcome committee was our favorite thing!

Property was being renovated. I didn't see the notice when booking because it was at the very bottom of the page. Elevators were very dirty from the construction crews. The location of the property was great.

    Exceptional

The next morning, we found body hair on two of the three bath towels. Even more concerning, the shower head came apart while I was showering, and a metal screw and a piece of plastic attached to the screw flew off when I turned on the shower and hit me on the head. We did noticed that the water pressure coming from both the sink and shower was overly forceful . I gave the screw to the employee at check-out and briefly explained the issues we experienced during our stay before leaving. I hope these concerns are addressed so future guests have a better experience.

Debris all over the parking lot, construction materials throughout facility, housekeeping was lacking all over.

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

Terrible condition! Dirty, under construction, boards with nails lying in the parking lot. Just terrible overall. Would never go back, do not recommend!

Hello… well first off we were never told that the place would be under construction during our stay (which made our mornings loud and early) 2nd the WiFi didn’t work..3rd the bigger shower head in our room didn’t work as well was broken….4th the televisions in the room couldn’t be used at the same time as the remotes would change both tvs regardless what room u were in. 5th we couldn’t get ice at our disposal! Over all if these things weren’t a factor our stay would have been 5 out of 5

Some negatives: Short staff Upon arrival, it was a ghost town and when the front desk person arrived, it was not a warm welcome. And apparently beds are not made as part of “turning down” a room. only new towels are given and garbage taken out. Not sure that is related to construction or a new thing with hotels. But, that is unfortunate.

It was close to a lot of places to eat and shop and close to the Hershey park. They were doing a lot of construction on the property which we didn’t know about until we got there. The toilets were very loud when flushing.
