Red Roof Inn Hershey

It was fine. We were only there for a weekend. Ice machine was broken, hallway was HOT. TV didn’t work correctly..had to call the front desk x3. Otherwise it was to sleep and shower but I wouldn’t spend more than a few days there

Red Roof check-in is at the Best Western across the parking lot. This would have been very helpful to know before hand. Bring your own amenities. They have dispensers. The sink dispenser was empty. Dryer was broken. Otherwise, no complaints. Room and bath were clean.

It was a great location ! And simple Clogged sink, and could’ve had the ac cleaned (filters )

Only eight minutes drive to where I need to be to spend the day watching my granddaughter play lacrosse There was no soap at the sink.

The staff was so nice but the rooms are VERY run down. We practically had to pull the shower off the wall to turn it on. The rooms smell like the cigarette trash cans (located right outside our room) and you can hear everything outside your room. For 200 plus dollars a night, it was very disappointing. It was our first time up to Hershey, so if we go back we will look at other properties.

Hotel/motel was not what I was expecting. Felt like cheap motel. Bathroom tub was dirty. Room smelled clean, but just felt cheap and outdated motel. It was fine for 1 night

The rooms were dirty , older , not remodeled. & over priced. Would not stay again

I liked the price and convenience. I wish they had a lobby to let customers at the desk, but the floors were sticky.

The price was good for the amount of time we spent in the hotel while visiting Hershey Park. My room was clean and it had everything i needed. It was very convenient to Hershey Park. The staff I encountered were friendly and pleasant. Check in and out process was a breeze. The ice machine was not working during my visit. I had to check in at the Best Western Plus on the same lot. They did say I could eat breakfast, but pay $10 person. I think that is a little much for a hotel breakfast. I passed. I think if you remove the carpet out of the rooms it would make them more attractive and offer a free breakfast as well.

This hotel is 5-10 minutes away from Hershey Park. There's an EV charger station on the property. This property is not far from Tanger Outlet. I would recommend it for a budget friendly short stay. I also saw pets being welcomed. They also have a second floor ice machine wasn't wrong. But the room was comfortable and well stocked. When we first entered the room there was a mildew smell but quickly went away when the air conditioner was on.

Bed was not very comfortable and felt like it was leaning too one side.

While there appeared to have been some attempts to update the room with laminate flooring, the floors were sticky and did not feel clean. This is a very basic, budget-friendly accommodation, so travelers should set their expectations accordingly and understand that the quality generally reflects the price point.

Room was clean. Sheets were clean. Towels were clean. Tv worked. Ac worked. Toilet and shower worked properly. No issues. No complaints. Definitely would stay again
