Sunrise Inn Hershey

It's just what it is, inexpensive accommodations. Though I rate it only a generous three stars, I am not disappointed nor critical. Some families are living there doing their best. The room was decent enough. I got there just after 9pm and the office was closed had to make several calls to get checked in. The sign on the entrance is not lit and VERY difficult to see. The rain spout drips right on the stairs to the second floor and will get you wet. Hole in the wall looks like a punch.

Small parking lot. They had tenants living in the hotel. Our room was back a hallway with a window view of a brick wall. We left our room Saturday morning and didn't return until midnight. They had not cleaned the room or given us any fresh towels. I will not stay there again.

The room smelled like cigarettes.The air conditioner kept going on and off, there was blood on the wall, they don't even give you a blanket.It's more like a sheet to sleep under, someone tried to come in my room at seven thirty.In the morning

FILTHY!!!! i have never seen such a terrible place! I was mortified to find live cockroaches running around. Dead fleas everywhere on all surfaces, including the towels left for use. walls, floors and all surfaces not cleaned AT ALL. staff are homeless weekly/monthly residents in motel but they seemed to be doing the best they can with what they had. I had to call the owner personally to get out of the first room that was not 2 queen beds or the room i paid for. the beds didnt have proper sheet sets, one bed had no sheet. the sheets that were on the beds were USED and had stains, hair and burn holes. the second room the place reeked of Marijuana, cig and pet. carpeted hallways and stairs appeared to have never been swept, full of trash and pet hair, peeling back off the stairs. the pool looked not maintained in years; weeds 3 feet high all around it, green brown scum on broken pool cover, rusty broken flipped over pool chairs. it was an experience I wish I could delete from my memory. i was scammed into thinking this place looked like the pictures. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

The outside is very outdated and not very welcoming. We tried to check in and, no one was in the office. We had to wait and then look for someone. The room itself was ok, but door did not lock correctly, shower was dirty, I killed 2 roaches.

Lots of exposed wiring in the hallway. Walls are paper thin. Room not handicap accessible. All the pics in the ad are false. There is no pool. The rooms have dirty carpets from the 80s. Stay somewhere else. Sleep in your car if you have to. Don't stay here.

The bed was good very comfortable

It wasn’t bad except I didn’t have a microwave, the door to the bathroom wouldn’t close and it was smaller than I expected. The one good thing about it was it was close to the concert venue

Room was horrible. Smelled of smoke. Stained sheets and towels. Carpet had ripples in it (trip hazard). People around hotel were scary.

Bed literally had a red and brown stain all over the bed spring

The shower area was clean and the shower was easy to use. The housekeeping was sloppy in places. Dusty baseboards, office chair and the wall light fixtures must have been wiped down with the same cleaner as the tv screen as there was a lot of residue on both. A real shame. The location is good, but the owner needs to spend some money on sprucing up the place.

The staff

This place wasn't bad for a one night stay, we did find cockroaches the next morning and dead bedbugs. There was no one at the front desk when I got there around 8:30pm. There was only 1 tiny trash can inside the room. It wasn't horrible but not the best either. Customer service could have been a little bit better. Nick the night manager was nice.

The hallway to our room smells like wet dogs. Room wasn't very clean, ripped everything off the bed checking for bed bugs, mattress cover had huge nasty stains on it, sheets seemed to be clean, but didnt trust it, found a bug the next morning on the bed, could've been a bed bug. So many reviews about beg bugs, I wouldn't stay here again.

This place was a real gem! Upon checking in I had 4 different people (some who may not have even worked there) helping us get our room key. Once in our room, we were delighted to find clean sheets, extra lights in the bathroom, and NO cameras. We were just a day too early for the grand pool reopening, so maybe next time we're in town we'll come for a swim! I think some people like this motel so much that they've extended their stays for quite awhile. Checkout was a breeze, with a big group wishing us safe travels. Overall an 11/10 stars!

Room wasn’t ready, just was painted which is great but I saw few bed bugs on the floor moving so I left . I feel the are doing construction in there room and that’s great but that room was not ready for me to stay. But Good luck and keep renovating.!
