Best Western Hickory

The rooms were outdated. Our door didn’t close all the way. You could dare through the crack. The outdoor pool was dirty. The carpet in our room was badly stained. Very disappointing.

This is an excellent hotel with an extremely friendly staff. The room was immaculate, the free breakfast was good and their 24 hour available coffee is great. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

Stayed for 4 days and nights. Hotel is a mix between outdoor entrance rooms and main building rooms. Basic hotel room nothing fancy, but if you find yourself in the area, staff is extremely helpful and it has a breakfast in the lobby. Pool and gym included no hot tub sadly but no big deal

Desk broken in room falling over refrigerator didn’t work

I did not know that this was setup as a motel type. Rooms with an outdoor corridor. I’ve stayed at many Best Western and none have ever had an outdoor corridor. The desperation never mention that, so I was extremely disappointed.

Parking and access was easy. Room was pretty gross. Everything was … moist and wet, even with the air running. Breakfast, like most American hotels, was very limited, very low-grade, and mostly sugar and processed starch. Noise level in the surrounding rooms was pretty wild throughout the night. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

It was a very nice quiet stay! Loved the pool.

My trip consisted of 5 hotel stays. This was my fifth and last stay, incidentally the hotels name was appropriate BEST.

Great Truck/trailer parking, safe area, large clean room, comfortable bed/pillows, excellent coffee/fixings 24/7, nice pool/lounger chairs, decent breakfast with pastries, yogurt with toppings, grab & heat sandwiches, fruit & juice Renita did a great Job taking care of us, keeping the area clean & well stocked The only two suggestions I have are add an additional protein to breakfast sausage links or hard boiled eggs & have on site laundry. It was a great stay & we will stay again when in the area.

It was close to where I was visiting The staff would not help me connect my ps5 to the internet they gave me spectrums phone number and told me to call them & figure it out. Which is not the customers responsibility. Gave us the account # & everything to have our PS5 white listed??? Then check out is at 12:00 we had housekeeping come & knock once then open up our door & asked if we were leaving??? Yeah at 12:00. Thankfully I was clothed! And we wanted to stay one more night because I was visiting a friend I have not met in person! And they didn’t want to book with booking.com Because they got a commission which is dumb for them saying on their part!

Overall a nice place to stay. CLean comfortable rooms. Nothings great. Breakfast really didn't have hot items readily available. Service was good. Decent place to stay for a night.

Quiet

They weren't. Our only complaint.

Location No elevator,they didnt grant our request for a ground floor room,we were next to back door and vending machines which was very noisy! While we were out for the day the housekeepers came in our room unexpectedly and took all of our towels but they didnt leave clean ones and they didnt even clean our room,I had to go down to the front desk and get clean towels as they wouldnt bring them up to our room! The breakfast was definitely another disappointment was it was nothing more than microwave biscuits!!! We will never stay there again!!!!!

It was convenient location, clean but a little dated. Good value for what we needed. Updating would be recommended
