The check in at the counter was very smooth and the person very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable. Here are the 2 issues. The television was terrible; trying to watch a live sporting event was so bad I turned off the television. Bad internet perhaps I don’t know. Not a deal breaker. The main issue with this hotel is the room we were assigned. Our room was very near a stop light off of highway 70. From 10pm to 3am the constant stream of motorcycles and high revving engines interrupted mine and my daughter’s sleep. It was so loud I thought the window was actually open but I checked. It was not. I don’t know how the rooms were assigned if by a person or by the computer but here’s a heads up to IHG, let your staff at this property know that side of the building has a terrible noise problem and don’t put people in those rooms if the hotel is not busy. It was not busy when we were there. Very bad experience!

Coffee maker didn’t work. Friend found chicken nugget and streamers under the dresser. Latch on door not attached, room 1033. Lobby was beautiful. Shower difficult to use. Hard to adjust.

I liked it, it had character. Even though it was ‘older’ it felt kind of stylish rather than ‘dated’. I also very much liked controlling the air conditioner on the wall thermostat instead of the unit itself.
