Black Hills Cabins at Quails Crossing

My main problem was with the hotels. Com website not describing the rooms correctly. What is a room vs a bedroom? We arrived to find we had gotten a room that was like a motel and not a bedroom that was separate from the kitchenette, etc. we were very thankful that the owner worked with us and helped us get a cabin instead where we did have a separate bedroom vs 1 large room only. The website needs to be specific about the difference and what each room really is. We were thankful that he worked with us and the entire place was not filled up. We had an enjoyable stay thanks to the work the owner did for us.

Decent cabins a little run down and put off by all of the signs posted outside the front door and throughout the cabin. Have to clean the floors do dishes and gather towels etc or charged 75 for cleaning.

Plumbing didn’t work properly on the first night. Left after one night, would not refund any nights. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

You can stay at a commercial place or stay attached to a horse pasture ( horses roaming around) gorgeous view right outside and was left alone unless I needed things. Highly recommend !

George was amazing/helpful/kind/informative, and the list could go on! Very nice place to stay.

The property is just as described. No, everything isn't brand new- it's rustic/vintage but everything was SUPER clean. The deluxe cabin had everything we needed and was a much appreciated place to lay our heads at night. Huge thanks to George for being such a great host.

Rules! Rules for everything! No soap, no tissue, no towel bars, no place to put toiletries,

George was very friendly and helpful in all our needs. A great place to stay. The surroundings does not look great but once you are in the cabin, it’s all great. Very clean and comfortable.

This place is a amazing. It exceeded our expectations. The cabin was clean, lots of spare blankets. Immedities were fantastic. Fresh towels every other day. Great laundry facilities. George and Jocelyn were the best hosts you can ask for. This will be our goto for every future visit to the Black Hills.

The room had a nice view. Room was clean and was comfortable. Continental breakfast was not convenient. Had a room on second floor with 15 steps and I walk with a cane. That was hard. When we arrived, owner was upset that I hadn't responded to his emails. I could not open them. Just kind of started out on bad.

Great Place and very cozy!

I liked the location as it was close to attractions and it was in quite a beautiful area. Nothing really comes to mind. Everything like the size and amenities were just as they were described on the listing.

Great stay on beautiful property that is conveniently located. The rustic cabin #6 was comfortable with plenty of space including 2 bedrooms. Fully stocked kitchen overlooks the pasture. I loved easy access to Mickelson trail directly behind the cabins.

This is an independent motel and cabins owned and maintained by a very nice couple. Great location and amenities including a pool and hot tub. They do post a lot of rules and alerts in the room asking to help be neat and control the cost of things, which is unlike many hotels, but I appreciated what they were doing. It's kind of dated but very comfortable and unique. I would definitely stay there again.
