Great location to visit the Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorials. Clean and well furnished room.
-
The staff was excellent and the breakfast was awesome! Would stay there again!
-
Really nice room and amenities. Came during Sturgis and didn’t hear a single motorcycle engine!

The daily breakfast was well worth the stay. The staff was on point and present to meet all needs- there was no waiting and always a pleasant attitude. The staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome, help with questions abot the area and always were interacting with guests. The staff here was better than high end, name brand hotels. The bes and bedding was top end and clean. The inn is centrally located and has road access pointing in all directions of each park and minutes away from Mt. Rushmore.

Nice hotel and clean hotel. The breakfast was good and they were checking it constantly. Would stay there again.

Great location and helpful staff. We reported some issues re: our sink and the staff was very responsive!!
-
Breakfast was a great variety hot and cold and prepared and maintained. The room was clean and spacious. Great location to Mt Rushmore, Craxy Horse and Custer State Park.

The showers were high pressure and hot, a review I rarely leave a hotel! The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean and the staff were extremely helpful and kind!

Rooms were poorly cleaned. There was mold on the wallpaper in bathroom, got a different room, then saw a bed bug crawling across pillow. Entire hotel had bad carpet stains throughout. Pool and hot tub were small and cold. Chose hotel because of the higher rating on Expedia but there is no way it should have had that high of a rating.

The breakfast was standard hotel breakfast... nothing amazing but solid normal options... If we were going back we would stay again.. family of 4 and stayed 4 nights.

Pros: Perfect location; close to everything you want to do (Custer, Badlands, Rushmore, cute towns, Jewel and Wind Cave, Crazy Horse, 1880s train) Lovely “backyard”- trail, beautiful near me, fire pit, and nice seating areas, osprey nest Beds and room furnishings appear to be newer and of decent quality Smart TVs in rooms Pool area itself seemed clean and well maintained (expect the water) Overall felt clean and well maintained (besides issues mentioned below) Cons: Breakfast (more options, higher quality foods, more fresh fruits, and individual milk cartons rather then one public pitcher of milk would be improvements) Carpets in both halls and rooms need major cleaning Shower was worn and peeling in several spots Curtains rod was detached from wall Ice machine broken and caused a wet mess in the hall the 3 nights we were there Pool and hot tub water is very foggy which made it feel less clean- may just be the chemicals? Our AC unit was very noisy, as if something was stuck somewhere in the fan which made it hard to sleep I would stay again but hope there will be some improvements and a little more attention to detail in the future.

The room was clean, the Beds were nice and the pillows were full! No elevator so lugging suitcases up a flight of stairs made the hubby cranky. Breakfast was just OK with fake eggs, but the biscuits and gravy were good.

Great place to stay in Hill City.

The room was clean and the beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and the little 4 waffles instead of one big one was the best! And we enjoyed eating breakfast outside before it got real hot. The only slightly negative things were the ceiling above the shower was a bit damaged and the hot tub was not at all hot. I’d still give this a 5/5 and was thrilled to notice the charging stations right at the hotel. ( maybe next trip we will take the electric car)

Staff was extremely friendly and room was clean. Great location. Only complaint was the pool and hot tub were extremely dirty.

Absolutely great place to stay. The room was spacious and spotless. As was the rest of the place including pool and hottub! Breakfast was really good. Fresh coffee offered 24 hrs. The staff was outstanding. This place is reasonably priced and definitely on point with service!!!! A 10 out of 10. We will be back.
