Good price Good location for riding s×s and a lot of other things to see.
-
Clean and organized That I had to leave, which I could have stayed longer

Breakfast na. Location central to activativities. Warmer water in pool. Hot tub kids welcome if supervised.....we have 1 under 15 and it wasn't fun that he couldn't be in. Better maintenance on bikes.
-
Rustic nature. Near Michelson trail and other attractions. Proprietors George and Joycelyn

It was nice and calm with a good view

Location The posted notes about what not to do and what to do

It was a very nice location and the owner was friendly and helpful. It had easy access to many local attractions and several fun extras right there like grilling, bonfire and trail with bikes. Overall the experience was pleasant enough and I would stay again. There were several bikes that had need for attention. The owner went into our cabin without any prior notice while we were away, would have liked some communication on the issue. And it was an extra charge to run heat. Would be nice if that were built into pricing. It was not a huge problem for us however as the weather was mild enough to get by and the owner was kind enough to provide a heater the first night when it was a bit chilly.

Great location nice little park kids had a blast
-
The owner told us to get the f*** off his property when I asked him to sign the receipt saying we “passed “ his cleaning inspection. I wanted proof we passed to get our $175.00 deposit back. He also said I’m not signing a f***ing thing.

The suite was large and roomy and clean, and my family enjoyed our stay. No complaints

The property was absolutely beautiful! We had a great time and we could pan for gold right on the property. They also had a pool which the kids loved! We couldn’t stay longer!
-
Location Additional charges not made aware of until arriving. $15.00 a night for heat even though it was in the 50’s.

Location was great. Unit was clean. Everywhere I looked there were unwelcoming signs of rules and expectations stapled to the walls of the cabin, and throughout the property. It was necessary for me to sweep up, vacuum, mop, and have the owner inspect cabin and bedding before I left to assure return of my deposit. Sofa bed mattress/couch severely outdated and worn out. Very uncomfortable as either a sofa or bed.

George in the office was very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort when the cabin i reserved turned out to be a bit too small for our group. Tons of amenities for the property, absolutely beautiful location. Said the pool was open but the look of the color was kind of alarming lol (it was the very beginning of season) everything else was awesome.

Had to shower in family's hotel. Don't expect to come back and take a cool dip into the pool bc the water is as green as the Chicago river on st pats day. Bed had thick plastic cover, for God's sake, don't do anything to soil the sheets bc either you spend the money to wash them or they're charge another fee.

The cabins were what i expected. Dated but quite confortable. The location was great
-
Clean, beautiful landscaping! Cabin furniture is dated but served our needs wonderfully and price took that into account and was fair!

Owner got upset we took pics upon his video recorded check out. George was upset we asked for heat, complaining booking.com should tell travellers HEATING COSTS EXTRA....check in and check out take a very long time, and if you're lucky he'll actually write on your paper copy the first time.... Took literally 15 minutes to check in 25 to check out.

This is a mom and pop roadside motel and cabins in the Black Hills. The location has play areas for kids, access to the trail on the other side of the stream, and a friendly staff. Everything other than food is made available by the hosts. The owner gave me a suggestion for a site-seeing drive to experience the Black Hills for the first time. I really can't think of anything I didn't like.

Nothing The staff was rude, when brought problems they returned in anger and did not resolve anything even though we only stayed an hour and a half we were not refunded when the accommodations were well below anyone's standard.
