    Great beach. Many pools. Very spacious bedrooms, living room and full kitchen. Large bathrooms. Lots of activities. Would have liked a restaurant on property for breakfast. Marriott needs to spend a few more bucks on toilet paper (not a joke).

    This place is seriously dated and it's a real shame as it has lots of potential but lacking any leadership with management and ownership. My experience at check-in was cold and painful and after an email a week ahead of time and 2 calls asking for a pack n play I finally had to go back to the front desk and speak to a supervisor. Then after 2 failed attempts with the ones that were delivered the manager had to come to the room and setup the third one. All in all this wasted 3hrs of my time. Further, due to something to do with their cable provider, not all channels were available and the wifi was awful. It barely worked. Overall it's not worth the monry you pay as the hygiene of the place is very poort. The gym felt as if it had not been cleaned in weeks. I mentioned this twice during my stay and it was never cleaned. House keeping comes every other day and it was a joke. The rooms should be cleaner. Again, a bunch of painful small things that doesn't make this stay worthwhile.

    The staff here is top notch! They communicated via text to welcome us and let us know to advise them of any needs. Addie is amazing! She did a great job with answering our questions and checking on us throughout the stay. The grounds are extremely clean. They do an excellent job of maintaining the building also ans cleaning the rooms. Everything about this place is top notch! In fact, this was our 2nd stay. We loved it so much the first time we were here a weekend ago, that we decided to come back! As soon as we touched down from Punta Cana, we immediately made the 4 hour drive to come back.

    I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Marriott Ocean Grande. The property grounds were well kept, clean and clearly marked buildings made finding my suite a breeze. The office staff was friendly and gave good restaurant recommendations.

    The location and the spa were the great. The staff were not clear with charges. The hotel put an additional $1080 hold on top of the quoted booking.com charge and gave no clear explanation. The night manager Addie was incompetent and a liar and her higher up was rude. The rooms were poorly renovated and not to the standard I'm accustomed to. You can tell this is an old property they tried to update/renovate. My cousin's shower had hair in it at check in, there was a stain on my comforter, the TV channels were scrambled and didn't play clearly and the doors are really heavy so you hear neighbors' doors slamming throughout the stay.

    Pool view. It was fine. Kind of older furniture and decor…. And carpet. I thought it would’ve been more updated for the price…. Good location for the beach but not for anywhere to walk at all…. Bikes on site were nice. The pool bar had great drinks and horrible food served all on paper and plastic utensils which I can’t stand . The food was gross. We didn’t talk much with the “host” so not sure on that. Just old and not what I expected

    Great room and amenities. Unfortunately, we had a poor experience with the front desk at checkout. Took 5 stars directly to 3 .

    front desk was not amenable to requests. The front desk manager seemed to care but his employees were not wonderful or that helpful. My sister and I both had issues. The front desk manager was nice and helpful in the end, but it was just a cluster.

    Number of various pools Check in parking design. It was the worst experience checking in bc signs didn’t direct you and there was no parking. Whoever designed that area should be fired immediately! Park far away from check in and walk!

    My family had a great stay at the Ocean Grande. The villa was very spacious with two bedrooms, a large living area, kitchen and dining area with a nice size outdoor deck. The beach view and interior garden area views were very nice. The property was in very good condition. We will be back.
