Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island

My only feedback: communicate that the key cards stop working at the back gate at a certain time. No one seemed to know this, and I got locked out twice. Thankfully the lovely folks at security let me in :)

The location is fantastic, just off the beach. We hired chairs and an umbrella from the hotel every day for $30. The pool areas were both great, plenty of sun beds available when we were there in late August. The best thing about the hotel though were all the lovely staff, so friendly and so helpful.

They cleaned very well ,and bed sheet was clean

Very nice resort. The room was very big and clean. The staff was great and friendly . A lot of options to eat inside de resort. Very close to the beach. The pools were warm and nice. Excellent resort highly recommend.

This trip was one of the best vacations I have ever had! The resort was clean, well maintained, safe, relaxing. Do not skimp on the spa either!-the massage was so worth it! Beyond all of that your staff was some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered! The food at the resort restaurants was delicious and the drinks were fantastic. The only downside I could think of was that the shuttle service was very limited and it was very helpful to have a vehicle with us if we wanted to leave the resort for any reason. Jeff though was beyond kind and really helped make my birthday a special day! I cannot thank everyone there enough for your hospitality and I cannot wait to return!

Awesome spot, great hotel. Pools for families and adults. Gym could use more equipment. Food options are pretty good.

Changes have been made since our last visit and while it is still a resort level hotel it seemed like a 2 star on this trip. Our door wouldn’t shut properly, the coffee make didn’t work, the bathroom floor was not clean, we had a security issue (which was addressed by mgmt) and the elevator door made a bad bruise on my arm because it did not detect me to stop closing. This might be minor but was not relaxing with these issues to deal with. Oh, and everything has increased in price so much. We probably will not go back.

The location and proximity to the beach was excellent. The beach also was not crowded at all. The pools were beautiful, clean, and excellent as well. Our room, however, didn't get cleaned the first day. There were stains on the sheets, pillow cases, and towels. There was a lot of hair and dirt in the corners of the rooms, like it wasn't swept well.

Our room wasn’t ready for over an hour after check in. Our last full day the tv and router went out so no WiFi or anything for what we planned for a day in to relax before leaving.

Everything was wonderful. It was our 3rd time at the Sonesta Resort .

Room looked clean but wasn’t. There were lint balls everywhere. The rooms looked like a lot of tacky patch and paint everywhere. Had a death in the family and had to leave early. Did not mind leaving when I was wondering how I was going to last 3-4 days there.
