Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Holland, MI

Parking and check in was very easy. The room was clean. The air was an odd mix of cold and humid when the air conditioner was on. Breakfast looked ok, but I didn't have anything except coffee during our stay as we ate elsewhere. We just needed a place to spend a couple of nights while visiting our son on break from his summer job. Location is convenient to downtown by car. Not much is close by for walking. The area feels pretty safe, though it's a bit run down. All in all, for the price and what I needed, it was good enough that I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Staff was polite and very nice. The front desk area is adorable. Breakfast was good. (Especially the potatoes we had one morning 😆) My issues are they definitely need to start replacing the windows in rooms. You can see the water damage on them and it is on the curtains also. The carpets in the rooms could also use a good shampooing, they arent the cleanest. (I am biased and kind of hate carpet anyway, it grosses me out, so maybe thats just me?) Overall the room looked clean and neat...It was definitely worth the price we paid and we would stay there again if we were back in the area.

There was a terrible smell in the room, but other than that, the stay was generally okay for the price.

The property is a bit older and could use some updates. The room was clean, staff was generally helpful. Lighting was dark, to me, in the hallways and not as inviting as I would like. It was quiet and felt generally safe. The breakfast had biscuits and gravy, but no eggs or sausage/bacon. I wasn't super-impressed overall and I probably wouldn't stay here a second time.

The breakfast was typical continental, ran out and there wasn't anyone around to replenish.

Great location, great staff and great price for a summer getaway! Close to Holland State Park beach, Saugatuck beach and Grand Haven Beach. Could not beat the price!

Basic hotel room but nice & clean. Provided pack n play.

It was ok, the building was run-down and the rugs in the lobby were dirty. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. About 10-15 minute drive from downtown.

Decent place to stay. The staff was wonderful, friendly, helpful and always available. The amenities were a bit worn and the bathroom was small. Free wi-fi and freshly baked cookies. For the price it was fine.

Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Their couch needs to be updated other than that . We will stay there again.

Breakfast was gresh and hot, even though we were near the wnd of serving time. Room was clean and the beds comfortable. I loved the extra little touches, like water bottles in the room, dog toys and a water bowl in the lobby. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

While the customer service was excellent, and the rooms were at least superficially cleaned, the property was not taken care of as well. My bathroom had black mold on the ceiling, and the caulk that was holding it together was all cracked (and there was black mold under it). There was extensive water damage (some of which) had been plastered over, but not painted over. And there was a part of my ceiling that was ballooning with water. I would have asked for another room, but suspected that all of them were roughly the same. This hotel would have been good for its price if not for this (which I suspect is a result of the owner not paying for necessary repairs than the maintenance staff being bad at their jobs).

The front desk staff was exceptionally kind, very appreciative of them. The room was quite dirty - from the bathroom to the linens. We stripped our bed entirely due to the comforters of both bed being severely stained, one seemingly having fresh food stains on them.
