WoodSpring Suites Holland - Grand Rapids

The noise of the people upstairs right above us we were in room 212 was constant even 3am still stomping loudly. When we made a polite call to property, our call felt inconvenient to the person who answered a nd then nothing was really done to resolve the issue. We ended up leaving a night early because we could not get any sleep with noise. Evening staff were not super helpful. We got one good staff interaction the day we checked in on 6/26 she was very kind. Air conditioning worked good, but overall stay was not an amazing experience.

The hallway and room had a bad smell. There was no coffee maker or hair dryer. Bedspread was dirty and smelled of previous guest. Tube had a large crack and had been “repaired”. There are better options in the area at the same price point.

No hand towels. Floor was filthy. Floor in the hallway and elevator had sticky stuff all over it. Shower curtain rod was as falling out of the wall. Tv and refrigerator worked fine. Grime everywhere

It was convenient to our location of where we were going. Nice looking rooms and nice looking on the outside.. I didn’t appreciate being in bare feet and feeling that I had dirt all over my feet every time one doesn’t usually wear socks when they leave the bed to go to the restroom and shouldn’t need to the floors were not clean!

This property looked absolutely nothing like the photos shown. It is not very clean and is very misleading. The employee at the front was very nice... but not helpful at all. I booked two nights with this hotel... we did not even stay there... we had to pay for an alternate hotel... I only got refunded for one night... The photos are misleading and I do not recommend booking this hotel. I will be checking all reviews from now on. Expedia was helpful in the refund process, but I do wish I could have gotten a full refund considering we did not stay there longer than twenty minutes.

Extremely dirty. Staff not at desk. Waited for 15 minutes and found a different hotel last minute. Save yourself the hassle

Check in staff was unprofessional and smelled of cigarettes. The ac unit was ridiculously loud and moldy. All the walls and furniture looked abused and the toilet ran all night. The bed was clean as far as i could tell, but hard as a rock. The room we got faced the street, which was busy at all hours of the night and there was no noise dampening at all, thin blinds and no curtains to block out all the noise. Apparently people also love there, and come down the halls yelling and fighting at 2 am, and cook very unpleasantly pundgent meals during the daytime. I literally slept 1 hour between the 2 nights we stayed. That being said, it was the cheapest we could find on expedia and if you just need shelter for the night itll do on a budget. Bring ear plugs, noise canceling headphones, and your own pillow.

The location is excellent; close to every restaurant and store you cold possibly need although not easily walkable.

They told me that I have one hr to pack up and leave. They're going to call the police for being a hostile customer. I assure you I was calm and assertiveness. I was on the phone to a worker, they banged the door. while taking my complaint the lady heard the womens rude tone. They told me, No refunds. They told a friend that made a cc payment for 5days extended my stay. Made me sign rental form to get my new reservation and key. Very unprofessional and filthy facility. This is vindictive policy that is corrupt. Lying that I was smoking or vaping, thats why the alarm went off.. It was my burned fried potatoes. Another fact, I dont smoke or vape, no drugs or alcohol. My family and friends will vouch for me. Im going to complain to everyone I see. There was were drugs and shadey individuals.

I got to the area later than expected and it was an unusually pretty day (which would be followed by a dreary day), so I tried to make the best of it by going to see tulips, then the lighthouse, and some of the other local fun things before checking in. I weirdly got a call asking when I was going to get there. I thought it was a regular hotel with regular check in, but he said that voluntary. Anyway, it was weird. When I got there, he said he needed to take his dog out??? Then a dog barked a ton until late. People were loud all night. There weren’t enough blankets on the bed and the room was so cold. It was a miserable stay. I will not stay there again.

Run down, over due for remodel, mattress was worst I have ever tried to sleep on

It’s was good, bed super loud, no hand soap in bathroom but other than that good!

The linen had hair all in it. The bathroom towels and wash cloths had hair on them. The hallways stink and the bed was a platform bed. This hotel was nothing like the pictures. False advertisement all the way!!! The mattress was hard as hell and the pillow was flat and very thin. If you choose to stay at this hotel make it your last resort. Honest opinion. They lucky it was non -refundable.
