Highland Gardens Hotel

Great location

Location and apartment like units. Garage was really dark.

The only few things that were good about it, was the fact that we were not too far from Universal Studios, the 101 was relatively close, and there were a few places to eat at a walking distance which was good given the fact there was such limited space to park at the hotel. Our room was not ready, carpet had stains everywhere, sheets were dirty, the staff was not helpful, parking was horrible, hall ways smelled of pee, we were told we could not get any towels after a certain time of the day.

Location and staff is friendly I liked everything

Nothing really, maybe location The room smelled heavily of smoke. I was not in a hurry to get under the covers. I saw a roach in the kichenette.when I checked in the security guard also doubled as a front desk clerk told me that they only accept cash and pointed me to the ATM in the lobby.he didn't know how to do another transaction type then he called for help and another person rang me in. a week later they also charged me by credit card overdrawn in my account and charging me twice I guess they forgot I had been charged at check in and paid cash.

Nothing The things they say in your face and will do the complete opposite when you’re gone. And on top of that my first room that I booked which was a lot more expensive was COMPLETELY TRASHED as I first walk in.

Honestly this was a drug motel. Burns in all of the bedding, staff was clearly also involved in some illegal activity. The ¿security guard¿ with a man covered in gang tattoos and dirt covered burns and asked if we wanted a homeless man beat up.... I have nothing good to say about this hotel from the constant screaming in the lobby from the staff and visitors, from the knocking on our window in the middle of the night from people on drugs and fearing for our safety I will never come back.

ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL ON THE PLANET. IT SMELLED HORRID Broken sink broken shower gross bathroom room was disgusting smelled like mildew AC was trash staff was trash snack were trash.

I stayed in the VIP room which is dedicated to Janis Joplin. I liked the memorial closet. The tub was cracked and needed to be repaired. The little shampoos were opened and they were a discount brand. The free breakfast was boxed muffins. The towels were dirty and there was garbage in the fridge. Try just a little bit harder, guys.

Staff. Dirty and the room I booked was given to another customer.

Location The rooms (because we had to be moved due to the issue) had malfunctioning appliances. The bathroom had bad water damage. The a/c was blocked by heavy curtains so the room stayed humid. The staff was rude to me and I witnessed the front desk be rude

It was nearby Hollywood Blvd and Griffith Park The room had so many stains on the walls and it was muggy and damp in the room, no AC or fresh air running. They checked us into a room that was already occupied, we walked into the room with used towels and undergarments on the bed.

proximity to Hollywood and convenience of a bank teller on site. It was an old room and felt dirty and grimy. The shower was small and pokey, the shower head could not be adjusted and the water pelted down too hard to make it comfortable to have a shower; Staff were not professionally oriented;

We liked the spacious room. Our check-in was 3pm, but when we got to our room at 4:30pm housekeeping was there and she said that she had just started the kitchen and would not be leaving soon. Every piece of furniture was very old and worn. The WiFi would not connect.

The hotel is not a newer hotel but it is very clean and well kept. The swiiming pool was very clearn. Housekeeping service was excellent. Close to Hollywood Blvd. Will definitely stay here again.
