Hollywood Guest Inn

The bed was horrible. My back is still killing me. Pillows were flat. AC worked but barely. Hotel never provided the WiFi password. Staff was nice and cleaners were very helpful. Location was as fine as long as your use to the LA lifestyle.

Keycards don’t work and can get randomly locked out especially at night. The service also refused to help or be held accountable for their key cards not working.

Ok budget hotel, nothing amazing but it's hollywood which is very expensive and this was affordable. It's ok location near main Hollywood blvd strip. Lots of food options near, in n out, Wendy's, 7-11. Bit run down nearby but that's a lot of US big cities. Check in is kinda impersonal behind a screen type thing but I wasn't expecting luxury. WiFi is bit fiddly...need to get a 24hr code at reception .

The room had a lot of flies, we killed a least 10. The staff was not able to provide another room. Never coming back again.

I’ve never been to a hotel where they CHARGE you to park your car there?? They CHARGE you to use their WiFi?? Every little thing here is a charge it’s insane. Rooms are very gross looking and so outdated. We left early due to feeling so grossed out staying here. Although staff is nice, the place itself is very nasty. We woke up one morning to a baby roach crawling on our stuff in the bathroom. The shower handle feel off as well. They honestly need to update their photos online to show what it really looks like. Theirs also no microwave in the room or lobby so don’t think about bringing food here to eat later. They do provide a mini fridge but feels kinda pointless by not having a microwave? Overall was not happy staying here. Also if you leave a bad review staff will confront you about it. Which is so weird and uncomfortable.

I travel all over the world and have stayed at countless hotels, but I have never experienced anything as dirty, rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional as this. I have never seen reception staff behave so badly and speak to guests with such abusive language. I strongly recommend that everyone avoid this hotel at all costs. Please don’t make the mistake of booking it.

Unbeatable location and incredible value for money! It’s definitely not a luxury spot, but for what you pay and where you're located, you really can't beat it. Perfect choice if you're looking for an affordable, straightforward stay in LA.
