amazing stay & staff

It was a lovely hotel. We loved the rooftop pool and restaurant. Bar Lis was a lot of fun and the service was great. We also enjoyed the daily happy hour in the lobby lounge. We did feel some of the areas were not as kept up as pictures showed. There was a whole area in pictures that was completely missing. We also encountered a fairly unfriendly server one of the afternoons we were there. Overall, a very nice hotel and we had a good time.

The hotel is wonderfully decorated with a cool/glam mid-century modern look and feel. Breakfast on the rooftop was excellent.

The property itself is gorgeous and the staff is so unbelievably friendly! I also love the location—it was so easy to get to Melrose and Sunset Boulevard. I travel back and forth between coasts for work and this will absolutely be my go-to accommodations when im in LA.

I LOVED THIS HOTEL!! I will definitely be coming back. I’m really picky about hotels, I like them to have character, but they lose me when they’re in “historic properties”, ya know? The Hollywood Grande is peak 5-star feel for a good price when I was there (please don’t raise the rates on me😂), had incredibly professional and warm front desk staff that felt like concierge service. I loved everything about it!!

Clean room. Not great storage. Safe didn’t work.

Well maintained, clean hotel. But, the customer service is so poor, you can much better with similar priced options in Hollywood. I got to the hotel at 12p, understood I had to wait to get my room. But as the front desk promised I was never notified when it was ready. They have good amenities…food credit, tickets to Chinese theater, good rooftop pool, but you don’t get to use any of these until you are officially checked-in. Bad. Oh and I got a room with a view? My view was of the other side of the hotel, which they called the “atrium.” Just say no.

Our room. The manager on duty was absolutely no help!! Acknowledging that this was a terrible experience and that it should have never happened but offer no assistance while it was happening. Extremely disappointed and definitely going to tell all that will listen do not stay here!!!!

From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel was beautiful, extremely clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful, which made the entire experience even better. The room was spotless and comfortable, and I really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property. The location was also very convenient and made it easy to enjoy everything in the area. What stood out the most was the overall atmosphere and level of service—I felt comfortable and well taken care of during my entire stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had! ❤️
