DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Alana - Waikiki Beach

No microwave in the room unless you pay $30.00, then they still ran out ,no room service, door dash only delivers to front desk. Only 3 elevators on 16 story building, so you have to wait several minutes to use a small elevator.

The location I didn’t like the property. The building is very dated, the furniture needs to be replaced. The wallpaper in the bathroom is pilling, the bathroom is a horrible dated yellow, the bathroom lacked counter space and a mobile mirror. I didn’t like that they gave my original reservation away. I request a double queen back in March and they gave me a king suite with a sleeper soda. As an adult that requested two queen because I did not want to sleep on a sofa. The staff made the bed but didn’t not prepare the sofa bed when serving the room.

Nice simple, no-nonsense hotel in Waikiki. Seemed a tad oriented toward the business, rather than leisure traveler, but that didn't detract from our vacation stay at all

Great friendly staff! Rooms were nice and clean!

For a Hilton hotel, it was disappointing. The rooms are dark and carpet felt dirty. The bathroom counter is useless with no space for toiletry items. Need to go back and forth to get toiletry. When we ran out of shower gel and called for more, the front desk replied they had no timeline when more will come. Just disappointing experience at Hilton hotel. Felt more like a 3 star hotel.

The shower tile floor was very slippery. I slipped but did not fall. My husband slipped and fell from the raised shower and injured his knee at the onset of our trip. The shower is dangerously slippery.

The hotel was wonderful, very comfortable, and the staff was very accommodating.

This hotel is next to a building that is not well kept and looks like a brothel.

There was nothing unique about this hotel. The room smelled old, and the hotel itself needs updating. They also advertised having a washer and dryer, but we found out they don’t actually have them. This is false advertising. I won’t stay at this hotel again.

We got there late and had a tour early in the morning. Staff was so courtesy as we needed a place to store our luggage and to clean up and change before we caught our plane. It was a great location!
