The facility itself could use some updating as the property looks dated and in some areas worn. We booked two rooms and they were supposed to be the same type, but there were some subtle differences between the two. The good: - rooms were clean and great housekeeping staff - two big TVs (front room & bedroom) with plenty of entertainment to watch, - beds were simple and very comfortable. - AC units performed very well. - website indicated an additional charge for daily breakfast, but upon arrival we were told daily buffet was included (as of 8/10/26). Breakfast rotated daily with items and food was fantastic for a buffet. - hotel provided two free welcome drinks every night from 530-730pm. - centrally located in Waikiki. The not so good: - parking was $60+tax daily valet service only. - building could use new paint. - floor ice machine looked dirty. - bathroom toilet flushed very slowly and appeared to be very old. - bathroom sink drained very slowly and would back up if water was on too long. - bathroom shower curtain looked dated. - room kitchenette had ants so couldn't leave food out. However, it is Hawaii, ants are everywhere. - room carpet appeared dated, even with house staff vacuuming daily. - room walls (at baseboards) looked worn and scuffed. - living room sofa could use replacing.

Location was perfect. Room condition was ok, but had no amenities including slippers and shower gowns. I think hotel needs to improve for the breakfast quality, we stayed here for 5 days and they served almost same food and very few selections.

We stayed for 9 nights and had an amazing experience! We hunkered down in our suite during storm Lala with full power! The staff didn't miss a beat although they were short staffed during the storm. We enjoyed the Friday night fireworks from our balcony! They even offer a hospitality room (first come first served) to allow you to shower before leaving for the airport if you have already checked out of your room to allow you to enjoy every last minute on the beautiful island!

Great stay!

We had to extend our stay due to the hurricane and they charged us $900/night. It’s not worth, for that kind of price per night you kind find a better property.

Property is showing it's age. But overall a good hotel in Waikiki. Would stay here again.

We traveled with two tweens and the suite we stayed in was a great size. The pull out couch was comfortable and didn’t have wire springs like most. Our room never got below 73 degrees even being set lower though which was rough with the humidity and heat. The elevators were slow for our tower with only two for 20 floors. The laundry room was clean and took both cash and card with soap and dryer sheets for sale (we bought soap at the ABC store right by the hotel for less money). We used it twice during our stay and it was busy each time (6 washers and 6 dryers) but it’s open 24 hrs. Breakfast was a typical Embassy Suites experience - the building was just hot because there was no circulation. Plenty of seating indoors (again, hot and humid but normal in Hawaii) and outdoor seating. Location is great and easy to get everywhere. Walking to the beach was an easy 5 minutes but the hotel didn’t have any beach toys to borrow like the hotel we stayed at last time. There was a rental store in the hotel but it wasn’t open a couple of the times we passed by.

Had fun and everything are walking distance from the hotel

Everything was excellent & what you would expect out of a Hilton hotel. More elevators might be needed other than the 2 that were there. Peak time foot traffic was a real headache waiting for the elevator.

Great place to stay.

Loved and enjoyed our stay

Excellent location and definitely five star staff

The rooms were clean but a higher level would have been better to see the ocean instead of the pool. We were on the 5th floor. Had an issue with the water pressure but the staff was very efficient and came right away. Breakfast was awesome but finding a place to sit was not. Loved that we could shop for food and clothes near by. Overall with the exception of the parking cost our stay was very good.

Perfect spot for a family vacation with picky kids. A lot of restaurants close by and activities to keep everyone happy. Will definitely go again!

Great location, close to beach, shops, restaurants, etc. Staff were friendly. Cannot beat the free daily breakfast and happy hour. I didn't give it 5 stars bc the elevators were acting up during our stay and we were on the 14th floor, having to wait 25 mins on the day that we checked out due to luggages. The escalators were out the whole week we were there. The bathroom near the pool weren't always kept dry, so it got slippery and dirty often. They had made-to-order omelettes which was an awesome feature, but some cooks overloaded it, so it made it inedible and we hated to waste it but we couldn't eat it. They had hors d'oeuvres for happy hour which was another awesome feature, but they need to be more creative with the food selections. The best feature was the free alcoholic drinks during happy hour! Unfortunately, the main male bartender in the front wasn't very nice (even tho he was quick) but the others were. Overall, this place had fantastic amenities, location, and friendly staff. Would definately stay here again.
