A lot of kids. Mandatory valet is very pricey. $60 per day + resort fees.

I booked an ocean view room and was given a room with a pool view. I had to walk out to the balcony and look to the right to see a partial view of the ocean with an obstructed view. Not at all what the description and pictures reflected when selecting the room type. Very deceiving! Secondly, I was charged for hotel fees from Expedia ($350), and upon check-out, I was billed an additional $50.00 a night with additional taxes and fees. It was very disheartening to have to argue with the front desk, and at the end, I was told to take it up with Expedia. I would like to add that after complaining about the room type the front desk offered to move us to a different building and room which offered a better view of the ocean.

Great property for the location, cleanliness and staff was exceptional. If you’re looking for beach access, not ideal because there’s no sandy beach more reef thus the name.

Pool was great, location excellent, there’s a teeny tiny sandy beach close by.

Beach is small, but easy to access from back of hotel. Very walkable location.

Absolutely one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Clean, friendly, with plenty of shops and activities nearby!

I booked the Outrigger Reef based off of the reviews and it did not disappoint! We’re a family of five and loved every bit of the resort. The rooms were clean and the location is phenomenal. Within walking distance of most anything you’d want to do in the Waikiki area! Book it, you won’t regret it!

From check in to check out and waiting for an Uber for the airport the staff was amazing and attentive, grateful that our first visit to Hawai’i was so fantastic!

Charged 50$ everyday for resort fees! Insane ! And another 60$ for valet no sled parking, was spending over 100$ everyday for nothing !! Hotel felt old as well.

Staff was good

No beach. Staff tried to upsell us to a different room the moment we began the check in process. We had already been snookered by Booking.com - so this was really the nail in the coffin.
