Love the access to various pools and the beach! Great walking distance to various shops as well. Our rooms were timeshare properties with kitchens and laundry which was super helpful! There was a lot of people at the pools/not enough lounge chairs.

Everything was great with the resort HOWEVER the elevator system is awful and can be quite an inconvenience. Overcrowded elevators and sometimes waiting over 20 minutes. Our family of 5 would sometimes split up on rides just to get off our floor. Had to call the front desk to have someone come get us on the service elevator after waiting a half hour trying to check out and get to airport on time. I would reconsider staying here again simply because of this.

Awesome....Only word to describe our first time at this hotel and Hawaii!!
-
This holiday was so enjoyable mainly because we had such a great room to stay in. It felt like staying in a very nice condo with all the things you’d have if you lived in one.

We got their last room on a Thursday night when we missed our flight at 10 PM. We only stayed the one night and left in the morning so we didn’t get the full experience of the resort, but it looked pretty big and pretty nice.
-
We liked the self contained aparment, it was spacious and the washer dryer was good to have. The cost of the food in the restaurants by the pools was high.
-
Overall nice property, the elevators were the biggest problem. Guests typically have to line up more than 5 minutes to get onto overcrowded elevators or have to wait for the next.

Perfect for family. A little walk to the heart of Waikiki. A little paradise!

Our first vacation trip to Hawaii and we loved the accomodations, staff hospitality from when we arrived and after our check out. Everything about The Hilton Grand Islander and the entire Hilton complex was fantastic. I have zero complaints. My family loved everything about the Grand Islander, the Hilton Village complex and Hawaii, especially the residents of this most beautiful State. We fell in love also with the culture, the family oriented atmosphere everywhere we went. We will be coming back very soon. Mahalo nui loa, Hawaii!!!

We stayed at the Grand Islander. The rooms were spacious and nice and the kitchen facility helped with in room meal preparation. Access to the beach and pool areas was convenient and just what we needed. On the second night of our stay there was a slight flooding issue in the flooring in the hallway. Maintenance was quick to come and check. The next day we were moved to another room, comparable to what we already had, and staff made the move quick and easy for us. I appreciate the quick way they handled the situation and made our stay still enjoyable.

Great property, great time. No stress. I think thats all you can really ask for in a stay. Everything else the village provides is just the extra comfort really. The service was excellent everywhere we went and I didnt even have to bat an eye in regards to knowing we were taken care of. The view from the room. Wow.. truly remarkable. We watched the sunrise on our last morning. It was awesome. Thank you for making our anniversary and stay awesome. Truly! Mahalo Nui Loa!
