Excellent location with all amenities. Beach and Waikīkī close by. Kitchen a plus. Only thing missing was the bathroom was not convenient for seniors with disabilities. Although shower chair was provided on request, lack of grab bars made it extremely difficult to navigate for my father who has stroke. Other than this, Ilikai was wonderful!

Good but can be better. Its specially when check in. The first impression is important. If the staff acts negatively, it wont be good for customers.

Really beautiful view, room is pretty big and has everything you need. Walking distance to the beach! Also the front desk staff is really welcoming and friendly, love the place!

Brought entire family out to celebrate and it was beautifully worth it. Super pleasant with all the cute little ice cream, water, towels, and movie perks. Thank you for all of it. Thank you for the unique experience. Cannot wait to go home and gloat all about our stay. And also will definitely be coming back for another reunion visit.

Great view from our room! Easy walk to everything. It’s not in the middle of all the crowds but you can walk to middle of Waikiki in no time.

Clean room, beautiful view beautiful hotel!

This place was wonderful. We had a full kitchen so we could cook our meals which was nice. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Had a balcony which we were on street side. Nice to see. Hula on Fridays, we were lucky to see. Staff was always pleasant. Two outdoor pools one for relaxing, one for swimming. Lots of stores at resort for shopping. Beach within a short walking distance. Convenient location for trolley and buses. Mall within a mile away which was an easy walk to get to. This place had everything we wanted. We did not need to rent a car to see everything we wanted since the trolleys or bus could take us.

We have always liked the location of the Ilikai Hotel. The rooms are dated and have to say that not much has changed with them for several years now, the rooms need to be updated. The pool was very disappointing in that we could not stay on Saturday because the boom box shit music chased us and others away. It really was pathetic to say the least. We have been staying at the Ilikai for many years now, if that is the clientele that you want hanging around your pool then we are out. Let me put it another way, if you want the Ilikai to go downhill, keep doing those sorts of things that chase those who want to spend a relatively quiet morning or afternoon at the pool, that is a great start. The restaurant at the pool also needs an upgrade. I am a Celiac, there was virtually nothing for me to eat except a sloppy hamburger. The first time I came to the Ilikai was when I was 16 years old, now I am 63. It was a high end place when I was 16, not anymore. One more thing, we could not get our TV to work at all, I typically watch the news at night and tried every night to get access but no luck. Having two remotes for something so simple is very antiquated. I have been around for awhile and know how to use two remotes, we were unsuccessful in getting the TV to work.

The TV and TV control was difficult to use. May want to have instructions for those less savvy in the age of technology.
