The kitchen was so helpful with a family. The staff was helpful and kind. This hotel was also interesting with its history and had great basic amenities. We picked a smaller room intentionally. We always were on the move and never in it. But it was clean and the staff replenished towels. There was also a laundry room which was helpful. The only thing we would have wanted was a table to eat meals from in the room. Fantastic hotel and we will return.

It was a good stay. Hotel was nice, great location, the room had all needed for stay, the kitchen was very nice, with the big refrigerator, microwave, the stove and all dishes. All worked well enough. The only one complain was the ugly smell in the room. I guess bed smell was coming from the kitchen furniture and every time we were entering the room, we had a horrible feelings.

They used half-price parking to get us in the door, but it's a scam. We paid $60 upfront just to agree to the discount, and then still got charged $45/day anyway. It actually cost us more in the end. On top of the financial headache, the elevators take forever. You spend a chunk of your vacation just waiting around to get to your room. Would not recommend dealing with their promos.

Clean room

The room was clean and spacious. The amenities were great the only issue I had was the blow dryer it didn’t work very well and smelled burnt. But that’s nothing….we completely enjoyed our stay and the convenience of the location. Would stay there again.

The facility itself is wonderful! Shops, ice cream, Aroma Coffee shop ( fantastic on all levels), the hotel restaurant is good with a great wait staff and environment. Some of the dishes need extra servings, but overall, 4/5. The room was ok. What we didn’t like was our room was serviced one time during an 8 day visit- and that was only to dump trash and change the towels. I would have so appreciated daily clean up- along with paper and pencil/pen in the room. The sliding glass door was next to impossible to open/close! The bathroom is quite dated- shower curtain- no place to put any of your own shampoo bottles, hang up a washcloth, etc. inside the shower! There is limited light in the bathroom as well! Would we stay again, most likely as we don’t spend much time in our room during the day. Although this hotel has been around for quite some time, with a wonderful history, they do need to update the rooms a bit more!

This was the best priced hotel I could find in Waikiki for a family of 5. I booked two rooms for our family because we wanted enough space for all of us and it was very useful to have 2 bathrooms. Our rooms were a few doors down from each other, on the same floor. Valet parking was $45 per night (not bad for Waikiki). They had laundry facilities (2 washers and 2 dryers) on the floor. The city view was fine since we were basically in the room just to sleep. The balcony was spacious. The kitchen was useful. It was an easy walk to the lagoon and nearby beach (very convenient for the Friday night fireworks). It is close to the Ala Moana Center (mall) and a 20 minute walk to the middle of Waikiki. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a budget friendly hotel.

Didn’t realize that this was not a traditional hotel so check in was in a tucked away office. Desk was only manned until 10pm. We arrived just before it closed but the staff was super helpful and waited past 10 pm for me to return the luggage cart. I’m glad I arrived under the wire. Not the most convenient situation for our late arrival.

Clean and spacious room. Parking is very easy but expensive! Didn't care for the timeshare pitch. Overall, the stay was great!
-
Much quieter here than it is on the south end of Waikiki Beach. Room and hotel were wonderful. We could happily stay here again.
-
Everything was in walking distance! The customer service was amazing! Carolina and Kent were so awesome and helpful!!
-
The room is really old and bad smells. Not clean the whole week, only provided towels and dump trash on Tuesday. No van in bathroom.
-
The kitchen was useful. Has everything we needed. The Japanese tub was kind of high so have to be careful. Location was great and walkable to many places. Staff were helpful and friendly. long stay housekeeping, they only do trash and towels.

Everything was wonderful, my family and I were very pleased. Staff was amazing and very helpful with checking in, staying an extra day and checking out. We love it, Mahalo
