love the location and some of the staff This place has Roaches!!!!! And no vending machine or anything! Run down and old. I informed the front desk of the roaches and they just said OK lol. They asked if I wanted an exterminator, but why would I want Roche extermination and then have to leave the room for a few hours after I’ve paid for it and only have one more day. Terrible experience! And can you believe I paid two Dog fees so 35 per Dog! Meanwhile, the place is trash

The Little Pink in Waikiki is one of my favorites.. Older propery with true Local charm ...not a polished Corporate overpriced monstrosity..very comfortable with all amenities you need and location, location Plus plus...1.5 blocks from the best Surf shop and breakfast in Waikiki..2.5 blocks to Putting your feet in the water 🌊

DISGUSTING!! TERRIBLE SERVICE! DO NOT BOOK HERE THE PHOTOS ARE DECEPTIVE! This was like a prison but worse. Bugs in the bathtub, everything was dirty it’s very unsafe. Staff is awful and good luck getting your money back!

Very lovely staff and great amenities. very close to alot of main line destinations such as malls, beaches and many other attactions definitely worth the stay for such a unbeatable price! Also not to mention the 3 restaurants practically attached to the building all worth a visit!

Well located but terrible maintained. Very old and extremely noise. Aloof go another hotel! You deserve a better one!

The rooms are small but cozy, and honestly, that’s all you need if you are planning to spend most of your time out exploring and enjoying Oahu. Great location, good atmosphere, and a budget-friendly option for a Waikiki stay.

The inner hallways to the elevator give shady back alley feelings. It’s floor is broken concrete, the hallway is poorly and dimly lit. There are side doors/closets made of plywood and basic latches. In our room- the master bedroom had a plywood wall by the door way- but this time painted- with a latch and hinges- if you unlatched the wall your wall opened into the the outer walkways that guests use to get to their room. The door ways in to the room had a gap on the bottom of the door when closed that was two inches high- so anything that tall could come right in to our room. Room door could only be locked from inside the room. We did have roaches in our unit- both dead and alive. We didn’t see bed bugs but we did see little black dots in the bedding and furniture. Due to us being unsure about bed bugs and discusted about the roaches- we left and stayed the rest of our trip at another hotel. The Royal Grove was just bad. The staff and loitering random shady folks around the building seemed to have some kind of point of interest in one of the rooms as many were in and out and it felt shady and like they didn’t like that we noticed. We didn’t have high expectations- it’s rated 3.5 stars. I’m used to budget hotels. I would have been fine with motel 8 quality. A pest free, clean, and safe room was the minimum expectation- they did not meet that. 1.5-2 stars, tops.
