Waikiki Central Hotel

This place was perfectly located, close to the beach. Lots of food trucks and coffee shops around the neighborhood. If you are looking for a clean hotel, within walking distance from all the action, this is it. I really liked how easy it was to check in late, after hours. We will definitely stay here, again.

Great location, large room, kitchenette was great. Friendly staff. Korean BBQ food truck/ restaurant next door was a bonus.

Exceptional

Great location, but hotel is too old

Parnong was terrible, this is just above a B&B. The only exiting part is the Korean food stall next to it. Also the noght we arrove tbere was the Alpha noght Party, claimes to be thè largest Waikiki block party.

Good

The room was clean and spacious, it had a balcony attached that I sat out on every morning and night. Staff was very friendly and helpful with beach supplies available in the office. Over all was a very nice and clean hotel

Nice area and close to beach and market

Great customer service. Help me a lot . Nice place go everywhere easy. Clean cool and parking.

Very old. Needs lots of updates. Had to climb stairs to 6th floor. Tiny showers. Air conditioning half worked. Clean and nice staff.

For the cost, it was perfect. Location was great, and price too. The restroom was a little dirty as it had lots of bugs, and the room itself was not the nicest. AC worked great and the space was good for me.

Staff were so accommodating and friendly. Very modest room but that’s what I was paying for!! Very comfortable bed. Mini fridge. Microwave. Dishes. Coffee maker with complimentary coffee. 3 blocks from the beach on a well lit clean street with ABC store and several reasonably priced restaurants within a few steps. Would highly recommend for the budget traveler who is not looking for “fancy”.

Needs updating

The place doesn’t stand out among the bigger more well known resorts and comes across as a long resident apartment building but is everything I need when in Honolulu. Close to best beach in the world, great Musubi and poke Bowls on the block. A short drive to Foen to Earth health food store and Foodland. Great affordable hotel and will be back again for sure. My only tip is call and reserve one of the few parking spots available to avoid a local garage at almost twice the cost.

The staff were very helpful. The rooms are perfect for what we needed and very convenient. Noticed hair in the shower drain before anyone showered and dishes in the sink. I would still visit again and just ask for a second inspection/cleaning of the room right before checking in

The building is run down not kept up but clean and does not have any amenities. I traveled with 2 other friends and there was not a mirror in the room to get ready (the bathroom was too tight for all 3 of us to get ready in there) and I booked a room with 2 queens and they gave us 2 full size beds. Also the elevator only goes up to the 5th floor and it was a big hassle to haul up all of our luggage up the stairs to the 6th floor. The staff was friendly but only there certain hours. The location was great, close to everything. Overall okay but I would not book here again.

The location is awesome! Just a couple blocks from the beach. The room is basic, no frills, but affordable, clean and convenient. The staff is also super friendly and they have pretty much everything you need for the beach to borrow like mats, towels, umbrellas, etc. We definitely would stay here again.

The location of this property is the selling point. We were in walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, entertainment, bus etc. The staff was good and they also had access to beach chairs and towels which was helpful. The room was not great. It was very small, the walls were thin and we could hear and smell everything that was going on around us. The bathroom door was stuck and required effort to open and close it which was noisy during the night. Even though it is Waikiki, it was expensive for what we got.

The flexibility and convenient check in time. The room was very well done and surprised me .I am definitely going back
