It was great and friendly service

I highly recommend this Hotel. It’s clean and organized. Love that they have the water dispenser and beach towels. Toothbrush toothpaste, slippers, bag available for use. The room is big and the balcony view was awesome. Lots of storage spaces, drawers and cabinets. We returned from a long day with a clean room. It’s very convenient to shopping and food stores and right across the beach which is awesome. As far as the staff, I get they’re probably tired of the tourists asking questions but I feel that they can be friendlier and better customer service. But overall I would book here again.

We have stayed at Hilton, Malia, Hale Koa. This place is easily as wonderful. The room was well attended (and well appointed), staff amazing, the area around the hotel is quite walkable. There is something for everyone here!

Wonderful experience! From the welcoming front desk clerk who checked us in to the friendly and helpful staff to the clean hotel room with a stunning view of the ocean, this hotel has everything. We would highly recommend this to everyone. Family friendly, too!

Location and beach chairs/towels are fine. The hotel feels ancient and worn, rates are way too high, and staff are often plain rude — including an employee who checked us on our room cards and explained nothing. Elevators are a permanent queue. Old doors/windows are so poorly isolated that a storm night felt like sleeping inside the weather — extreme noise and vibration. Avoid unless you only care about the address.

Rooms are old, doors are busted up, sliding doors shake, and don’t completely lock. Standing in the bathtub for a shower makes you feel like you’re going to fall down to the next floor. This swimming pool is the smallest thing ever for a resort. The hot tub is full of kids that jump in and out whenever they please no parental supervision. There is sand everywhere in and around the pool and the hot tub, it’s dirty and not cleaned. I understand the hotel is 50 years old but as much as you pay for a room, there’s no reason why the hotel can’t be updated.

Great stay

We were staying at this hotel for 6 nights on the 2nd night there was a cockroach about 4 -5 inches long. My daughter was terrified and my wife was so upset as we were there to celebrate out 10th wedding anniversary . When we told the lobby they said that they can give us 1 free breakfast voucher even though we already had breakfast included when we booked the package. On night 4 ANOTHER cockroach same size … when we complained they said that they can change our room but we might not get the view we paid extra for or we can LEAVE . Where were we supposed to go??? Worst hotel ever. Do not recommend

Would be great to have bigger pool

We enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Regency. It was very clean and family friendly.

The room was spacious and the hotel staff was very helpful. Our views from the oceanfront room was amazing!

Room was spacious and comfortable with a view of the beach from the balcony. Room was serviced well each day with restocking of products used. My room was right by the elevator shaft which made it noisy especially when trying to sleep.
