Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa

The hotel has a beautiful interior and a very pleasant atmosphere. The housekeeping and restaurant staff were especially friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The location is also very central, and although the hotel is not directly on the beach, it is only a short walk across the street. Our ship was cancelled/delayed, and the hotel was fully aware of the situation. We were assured that a note would be left so we could extend our stay once we received an update. When booking the extra night, we repeatedly asked if the quoted price was the final total, including breakfast, taxes, and all fees, and were told it was. However, at breakfast we were told only one breakfast was included, and at check-out we were then told neither breakfast had been included and additional taxes were also added. This was extremely frustrating, especially since we had specifically confirmed the total price several times to avoid exactly this situation.

I felt the property itself was lovely and very inviting especially due to its proximity to the beach. However, I do have some constructive criticism of the room. I found it to be a nice size, beds were comfortable. However, I was disappointed in the bathroom - minute size and well as no grab bars on the wall. I also felt it required a fresh coat of pain.

They don't clean your room until you ask in front. This information came from cleaner lady. You have to ask for clean room.

This is an excellent property, I wouldn’t even look at an other property, and definitely get the breakfast buffet so outstanding!!!!!

The bed was very comfortable and cozy. There were plenty of towels in the room. I would come back and stay again.

It’s location to Waikiki beach. It’s very busy and not a lot of seating in main lobby. Lack of air conditioning made waiting for check in slightly uncomfortable.

Check out, I was overcharged fees. And it took 30 min. To have someone find the mistake . On top of that the line at the front desk was so long it took more that 20 min to get in front of a person to look at the wrong charges. Very disappointing for such a caliber of a Hotel

Nice resort. Bell staff is amazing. Front desk staff operates like a high volume resort - No deviations and minimal explanations- have to figure things out in your own. Definitely buy the breakfast buffet - staff there is absolutely amazing and food is great.

The property could use an update. Our room was a little outdated including the bathroom. Staff was friendly and work was being done in main area around check in.

The staff was nice and the hotel was clean. Restaurant by the pool was delicious and service was excellent. Balconies are very small and with paying such an expensive resort fee more selections for inclusives would be nice or to atleast include parking in the fee to make it worth the $65 a day

the blow dryer is not a very good one and the registration personnel was not that helpful and kind

They even arranged for us to stay an extra night so we could recover. Their kindness and professionalism during a really scary moment meant everything to us. Beyond Jerry and Mike, the entire staff — from the housekeeping team to the front desk — were highly personable and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a hotel that truly cares about its guests, the Hyatt Regency Waikiki is the one. Highly recommend.”
