Vive Hotel Waikiki

This hotel is 3 blocks from the beach, close to shops, restaurants and public transportation. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the amenities are in good condition. The common area has a very welcoming and pleasant living room feel. The room and bathroom are relatively small but serviceable. One constructive suggestion I have is to make the vacuuming of the room a daily routine given the proximity to the sand. Also, the shelves of the desk were full of dust and had not been dusted in a very long time. All in all this is a nice hotel that I plan to visit again in the future.

The rooms are simple, reminding me more of a dorm room. Outdated, and our room was musty due to ac unit and windows were so dirty on outside our view of the ocean wasn’t magical. But we were on the go most of the time, so as a place to sleep, it was fine and bed was comfy. The employees were all friendly and helpful, especially the valets. The amenities fee was, I felt, too much as well as the valet parking but probably comparable to other places nearby. Amenities were continental breakfast (meh, but free), there may have been a fitness center but no pool. They did have beach chairs, towels and sunscreen. The vibe downstairs makes it feel boutique, but that doesn’t match the room. Seems to have a lot of European guests. Overall it was fine for our needs.

Very good service, caring staff, delicious food!!!

The staff are are polite and helpful. The breakfast was awesome with a good variety of foods to eat. The hotel is smaller than most of the hotels around and it shoes in the laid back atmosphere. The decor could be updated in the rooms but overall it was an enjoyable stay.

I did not expect to love this hotel so much. The staff were always helpful and welcoming from the front desk to valet and from the workers at the breakfast buffet. Which was always stocked and had fresh fruit and good hot foods and bread. When we first checked in our room smelled like cigarretes and was a little run down and when we asked to switch rooms Roger at front desk was very helpful and gave us a cleaner more spacious room. The free rent use of beach chairs, beach towels, totes and floaties which you can grab yourself and would need to use your room key to enter the storage were super convenient, you just have to return them by the bins at front desk after use. The location of the hotel is perfect. Its very close to the beach just a 2 min walk. And also close alot of other restaurants and stores. Overall i would stay again at this hotel!

Staff were very welcoming and friendly, breakfast was great , we loved the stay plus it was absolutely amazing location for everything.,foods, gift, Waikiki beach , excellent.

Low budget accommodations. Very small room, very out dated and seemed a little on the dirtier side. No pool and no work out gym. I would not stay there again. Staff was very kind and accommodating which somewhat made up for the lacking of the hotel

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at on vacation. All staff, from the reception desk to housekeeping, are amazing, helpful, and very kind. They welcome their guests and check in with fresh pineapple refreshments. Breakfast is wonderful, with fresh fruits, pastries, oatmeal, toast, butter, jam, eggs and sausages, coffee, tea, and pineapple juice. You can get unlimited coffee, tea, iced tea, and water every day as a complement. You can also get complimentary clean beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, and beach bags every day. They also have the option to borrow a GoPro, which I used for snorkeling. The management has thought of everything to make guests’ stay comfortable. The location is wonderful. You can walk anywhere in Waikiki, and it is very close to the beach, food carts, restaurants, and shops. I would totally suggest this hotel. I was very comfortable. Everything was as I expected and beyond.

Location was amazing! Only a few small blocks to the beach. Staff was fantastic and very helpful. Breakfast was full of beautiful fresh fruit, eggs, sausage and oatmeal. Overall I would highly recommend!

Location is perfect. Helpful and friendly staff. For breakfast there’s a nice selection of pastries and fruit, other breakfast items is limited.

Location is great and they have a nice lobby/dining area to sit and have lunch/dinner. Air-conditioner is awful, really old and loud. Bathroom is quite small, and the room is old and is not really clean. If you want new towels or have your room cleaned, you'll need to remind the front desk (they don't clean it daily).

There was hair in my shower when we first arrived to the room. But other than that no real complaints.

Enjoyed the breakfast set up. Having coffee n tea available great. Having towels, beach umbrellas. Matt’s seats free to use. Having rooms serviced earlier. Couple of days room missed.

I loved our stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
