Muy bonito hotel

We stay at this place every year for a sister/kid vacay. We actually upgraded this year to a suite/apartment with a kitchen. We are sold. It was amazing. Sat every morning looking at the bridge and the river. We also discovered the restaurant on the premises. Never knew how excellent it was. Next time, we will never leave the hotel.

We had a room overlooking the river, which was a plus. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. We’re looking forward to going back for another visit.

Pretty tired place, the rooms and the facilities. The balcony with river view was pleasant but had to jimmy the ancient flyscreen door to get outside. The whole place is just a bit run down. The room was dated with inappropriate furnishings, a creaky worn out mattress and an ancient tv which barely worked. The pool area has no facilities, no changing area, no food or drink service, nowhere near enough furnishings and no staff supervision. The restaurant deck was nice and we enjoyed some wine there in the early evening but come breakfast time it was woefully understaffed with half the area now in use and a 20+ minute wait for a table as a result. The hotel must know how may guests are staying on any night so could staff up accordingly to be able to offer more efficient breakfast service. For the high price this hotel did not deliver.

Great location. Nice pool.

Great location right on the river. Rooms were spacious, clean & comfortable. Nice outdoor area to relax as well as nice walking path along the river. Restaurant has beautiful outdoor patio; breakfast food was so-so. Would definitely stay here again.

I liked the different buildings. We were tired and hot, the restaurant was nice and a little upscale but affordable. Indoor and outdoor seating. Interesting wines to choose from. I really liked the photographs on the different floors, they will inspire my own future photos. They were mostly local vistas/views.

Was hesitant to select a Best Western but the hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room had a bedroom with a Queen bed and then a King bed in living room. Very spacious, porch overlooking the river. We stayed here to explore Mount Hood area. We walked the river path to easy dinner locations. Beautiful walk, about 20 minutes. Gym, pool and sauna were great. We had breakfast at hotel which was tasty. Comfortable bed. Several parties arrived at the same time to check in and the staff got us all through and checked in quickly. Easy parking.

A bit noisy due to I-84 very close, but nothing to do to solve that- just focus on the Columbia River proximity and view. Good, convenient lounge and restaurant. Nice pool area and exercise room. The property is somewhat dated and could use some cosmetic upgrades in the rooms. Hotel allows pets and we heard several barking dogs in rooms- owners were probably elsewhere.

Good location, lovely views and walkable to town. Try and opt for water facing. The a/c was okay, not super strong, but overall a good stay and would return.

Nice location on the river front
-
The rooms are completely outdated and in disrepair. The furniture and furnishings are worn and tattered. The carpeting is fraying. The window or wall unit A/C are very loud and distracting. The sink does not drain well and the bathrooms are not ADA compliant

The lounge bartenders were very rude. On 3 different occasions. They acted really put out to serve a drink. . I finally gave up the 3rd try to get food. And. Cut my stay short. The girl at check in had the same attitude. I left a day early. Honestly, I cant believe management would be OK. With this behavior to paying guest. They didn't seem to care..I don't appreciate being treated badly.

Nice clean room

It was the perfect home base for our family while exploring Washington and Oregon for the week.

The room and bathroom were both clean and comfortable. I enjoyed our river view patio, and the very nice restaurant with the river view. Food was very good.

This was a wonderful hotel. I would go back over and over again. From the view of the Columbia river to the restaurant, pool and the Town of Hood River, our experience was top notch!!
