The property was very well appointed, staff was very helpful and the room was immaculate. The best part of this property was our river view from the Balcony. And the worst part is I only stayed 1 day! I had never imagined that a Best Western Hotel could have an upscale hotel but I was wrong!! Great Job!

Really nice place to stay right on the river. Just outside the motel is the reverse boardwalk. Nice restaurant on site too.

Great location with beautiful surroundings right on the river. While there aren’t many dining options nearby, the riverside bar and restaurant offered excellent food. The atmosphere was lively during our stay, with several wedding parties taking place, but the staff handled the busy environment seamlessly and provided outstanding service throughout. The restaurant menu is fairly limited, but the quality of the food is outstanding—everything we tried was excellent. The interior-facing rooms that don’t overlook the water felt a bit small and somewhat dated, though they were clean and well maintained. One area for improvement would be the room photos on the website, as they didn’t accurately reflect the rooms we were assigned. Having more representative images available would have helped us make a more informed choice or consider upgrading to a different room type.

The hotel was so nice - the heated pool was great with a beautiful view of the river. We got a river view room and it was so nice to be able to get up and walk out to the path. When it was cold, there was an indoor hot tub that my family enjoyed The restaurant was delicious and they give you vouchers which is always an added plus. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely Best Western to stay at. Our room had 2 sinks, a refrigerator with a separate freezer. Beautiful grounds, very nice & safe trails along the riverfront.

The manager refused to make an exception to the penalty, So a loss of $300 , will not be looking to ever book a room there in the future.

We have stayed at this property for years, no more free breakfast..no waters offered on checkin..bar and lounge very sterile, staff don't seem to care. So we will look for a new place to stay in Hood River. Sad as things have changed seems like it is about corporate not customer.
