The place is very clean and convenient and that staff are very helpful and friendly. The noise from trucks on the highway is not trivial. It's a low frequency rumble with harmonics like you might hear inside a plastic pipe, every 20 seconds, all night long. Probably for most people it's fine, but if you are sensitive to sounds like me, it's not easy to sleep, even with earplugs in. If they put you on the side that doesn't face the highway it's probably better.

Before you post it, here's a refined version with smoother flow and clearer wording. This was the best place I stayed during my trip to Oregon. I was lucky enough to get a river-view room, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Being able to relax in bed while looking out at the beautiful natural landscape felt like admiring a living painting. It was peaceful and unforgettable. The room was spacious, spotless, and very well maintained. All of the amenities were in excellent condition, making the stay even more comfortable. There was also a large parking lot, which made parking easy and convenient. Breakfast was enjoyable. While the selection wasn't extensive, everything was fresh and satisfying. I especially appreciated that the hotel offered grab-and-go breakfast bags for guests who didn't have time to sit down and eat. It was a thoughtful touch that showed they care about their guests' needs. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Between the stunning views, comfortable accommodations, and considerate service, it was easily my favorite stay in Oregon. I would happily stay here again.

Great location! We brought our dogs and there is a fantastic park right across the bridge from the hotel. Also, very easy to walk or drive into downtown Hood River. Would recommend staying here as the staff was also fabulous.

Really nice hotel. The only problem we had was breakfast was not available until 7am although the front said it would be ready at 6am.

Clean, great parking. Great location Over expensive. Taking advantage of summer tourism. $75 pet fee! Really? $25 or $50 every where else I stay. I will not be staying at Hampton for future travel. Noisy A/C

This hotel was very expensive, but we did have provided amenities that helped us feel like we were having a short vacation. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. We enjoyed the local cherries for a snack and chocolate chip cookies at check-in, The breakfast was tasty with lots of options. The staff was attentive and friendly, I would choose to stay at a Hampton Inn again.
