Hampton Inn & Suites Hood River

The only thing thing that was most annoying was that early in the morning I could hear the people one floor up above us walking back and forth banging around in their room....this went on for at least 90min...I think after they left then the cleaning staff went in and continued....so unfortunately not a restful morning for me. I will request the top floor from now on when making reservations.

Wonderful stay every time. The breakfast and cookies are such a nice touch. I luck out and get a room with a view each time. One of my favorite places to stay!

The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff were great. However, I picked this place over others due to the advertised Columbia River views and photos. We were willing to pay extra for that. We got a view of a couple of trees, partial small river and walking bridge and the freeway. Nice place but not as advertised.

I’m always impressed with the Hampton Inn hotel locations and Hood River was no exception. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the entire facility was in great condition and very clean, and the location was super easy to find and access.

This is a superior property for a Hampton. It is clean, well maintained, and looks new or very recent (as of 2026). The showers are great, with controls on one wall and shower head on the opposite. Breakfast is the standard American hotel offal - sigh. Go to Pine Street bakery for yummy scones and serious coffee.

Parking was great with safe surroundings. The sushi restaurant next door is awesome and easy to access

We liked the view from the room. The hallways were very dirty. Rugs not vacuumed, furniture not dusted, etc.

Very clean and nice staff Pool and hot tub were closed and I was not made aware prior to my trip. There was construction going on that was clearly well in progress and I would have booked something else had I known the pool was closed

Great check in at front desk who helped me check in an hour early. Clean, modern and spacious room. Easy walk to trails and into the city. Nice complementary breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, super clran rooms and facilities. The views from our room of were amazing with large birds perched nearby flying and diving, as well as paddle boarders, canoers and fishers.v Hard to find a place to go for a walk near the hotel. The paths below the hotel and across the bridge didn't seem safe for walking through for a quiet stroll along the river.

Breakfast had all the basics - nothing special. Our view was of main highway 100 yds or less away. The highway noise. Blinds on the windows did not keep out the lights at night. Shower head was very high and was at other end of large shower than control making it hard to use. Part of hotel in going through a remodel.
