Riverview Lodge

The pool and pool room were clean and lovely but the hot tub was not filled and working. We were a party of 6 women and had connecting rooms which was very nice. One of our younger women was struggling with the end of a monthly situation. We were accused and billed for "spilling wine" on towels and sheets? I was called about the situation but I was in a public place and struggled communicating that info. Regardless, a hotel has the right to bill for "damage". We didn't spill wine and the so called "damage" was not being neglectful. In all my years of traveling with small groups across the country or internationally I've NEVER been charged a damage fee. I was shocked and felt we were taken advantage of. So buyer beware. In the end, the gentleman that checked us in was friendly and helpful but his excuse for the surcharge didn't feel appropriate.

Managers friendly. Property quiet. Very clean. But.. These were the NOISIEST springs under the mattresses I’ve ever encountered. Put your mattress directly on floor if you want any sleep. Such a shame.

Beautiful little property in a great, walkable location!! Owner is super sweet and very accommodating, check in and check out were very convenient. Rooms were clean and well kept, and the service was excellent. Would absolutely stay again!

The motel is well situated within Hood River. It's on the edge of downtown but close to supermarkets and fast food options. The nightly rate was pretty high for what essentially is a standard roadside motel room. The bed was not the most comfortable. Housekeeping visited my room only once during my three night stay.

It was a last minute decision to stay in this place and it was good!

The property is old but well maintained. My biggest issue is the tv didn’t work. It turned on but you couldn’t watch it because it was constantly buffering. I brought it up to the front desk at checkout and he said the internet doesn’t reach all the rooms. He would notify management. For $250 a night they can afford to upgrade their internet. The bathroom is really small there was only a tiny shelf above the toilet to put your things. Could have used a few hooks on the wall. Room was clean. Bed was squeaky. Seemed a bit overpriced. Decent place, staff was friendly, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

We only stayed one night but enjoyed the stay. The location was good for us. Close to food, shopping, etc

Staff was helpful getting early check in. One room had clogged sink and half the lights didn’t work. Second room had very noisy air conditioning and shower fixture was difficult to use. Both rooms could have used a small table and second chair along with two nightstands.

The only feedback was the internet connectivity speed was very slow other than that it was a wonderful stay. Will definitely be staying there again

The location was great. The staff was friendly. The parking was free because we were staying there. The weather was great and the view was great. The pool was dirty. The pool area was dirty with cobwebs. I found a spider. I like spiders but you could tell this was an unkempt area. The hot tub was something we could not use because of coding but booking.com is unaware. I really wanted a hot tub experience. I haven't soaked in a hot for awhile now.

Great staff! Maybe having a chair in the room would have been nice.

Loved the sweet, helpful man who checked me in. Pool was refreshing.
