Excellent stay. Spa was the perfect place to relax after a long day’s travel! Clean and charming. Room was small but we already knew that. The bed was comfy and location was great. Found a spot to park on the street with ease.

The room we were given was an interior room with no window to the outside and very small. You could only open your luggage in the bed. Really it was suited for an individual. When we tried to get moved we were informed that because we had booked through a third party nothing could be done without incurring a significant upcharge.Also: the parking is on the street .

The rooms are small but very nice. We really enjoyed it. It was clean, modern and sophisticated. The bed was very comfortable. We really like the robes in the room as well. The spa area was nice, but very dark. We did enjoy that you could use parts of the spa area complimentary with your stay. The bar was really nice as well. The front desk was very friendly and helpful at check in. The gal at the spa desk wasn't so friendly.

Great location no doubt. However, we were on the fourth floor and there was large HVAC on roof that was loud. They provided ear plugs, which is proof that they know it’s a problem. We had the smaller room with king size bed, but there was no room to put your luggage, except to slide under the bed. Parking was complicated and you had to pay $10 a day for use of hotel. Expensive for such a small room and no parking in our opinion. Staff seemed to be annoyed with addressing our parking concerns and questions. Probably would not stay there again.

We stayed all over Western Oregon during this trip, and this was my favorite place. It is right in the middle of downtown Hood River, and the property itself is unique and interesting. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend. Delightful hotel in a great location

Based on the photo that we saw when we booked, we expected a corner room. The air handlers on the roof outside our window were noisy. The sheets were pilled and scratchy, probably because they are not 100% cotton. We would expect higher quality bed linens from a high-end place like the Light well. The spa looked beautiful, but the chlorine burned our eyes and was too overwhelming to use the facility. We were surprised that there was no coffee service in our room or in the lobby in the mornings.

Excellent hotel, the curtains didn’t go down

I absolutely LOVE this hotel! This is my second stay in a month as i travel to Hood River every 2 to 3 weeks for work. The rooms are wonderful with lovely showers and comfy beds. The lobby bar is HOPPING- on a Wednesday night the place was full and they have a house band, too! The soaking pool is so relaxing and never crowded. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone making a trip to this lovely town!

We enjoyed our stay, employees were friendly, beautiful rooftop, our drinks were good, nice spa area. Our room was clean just very small. We didn’t like having to pay for parking every 3 hours.

Staff was friendly, clean rooms, convenient location.

Really enjoyed our stay here - close walking distance to cute shops and Pfriem brewery. Loved the remodel and finishes throughout. Coffee in the lobby in the morning is a nice touch and the rooftop view for cocktails was beautiful. We’d love to stay here again!

Th place has a great location. But we won’t go back again. We did not get close to what we paid for the 4 nights. A BB would have been soooo much better.
