Only reasons gor not giving 5 stars is that there is no elevator and no breakfast.

The owners did a good job remodeling the property. Ask for more towels in your room if you are a family.

Surprisingly good. I'd call it a hotel instead of motel. BTW, the tap water is the best I've ever drunk. Cheers Columbia river.

So clean and quiet. Location is easy access to everything Hood River. Staff is friendly and helpful, especially Chris the manager. Will stay again.

We stayed here for 1 night. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The people in the room above us seemed very noisy. Not sure if it was thin ceiling or loud guests. This was close to everything in Hood River. We would stay here again. I do wish they had a hairdryer and iron in the room. They may have been available at the desk upon request, I didn’t think to check.

I liked how clean and modern it was, and well maintained. Beautiful views too! There was no closet to hang my clothes and dress. Just pegs on the wall that were too low for my dress.

A nice well-kept property with a great location. The owners are friendly and accommodating.

The motel was overrated. It lacks some basic services, no continental breakfast, not enough light in the room, no closet, bathroom door jams all the times. I would not stay at this property again.

We had a great stay at Sunset Motel. Our view from the room was gorgeous with Mount Adams in the foreground, beautiful cherry trees and flowers throughout the property. The room looked newly renovated with that new furniture smell, shower was perfect, but most of all the lady who checked me in was super nice and gave me a few recommendations. Highly recommended!
