Homestay Horn Lake / Southaven MS

The staff at check-in was not polite. The room was not cleaned. Old soap in the shower, left items from past guest under the furniture, the bed was memory foam, and the blankets were sheets.

This property was outdated, overpriced, not very clean. The tissue holder was completely covered in rust, It was very loud outside my door to the point I couldn’t sleep. I didn’t even stay the full day, I had to leave early.

Pool was the only good thing about this place. The floors were dirty with hair all over. Fixtures were broken. Tv was broken. Will not stay again.

Our room was supposed to be smoke free,, but as we entered , could obviously smell smoking had had happened pretty heavily. Hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and shopping areas.

The room had ROACHES!!!! Asked for a refund and he wouldn’t give it to me. Do not stay here

microwave did not work- unable to heat meal preps-

The young lady at the front desk is always so kind and helpful. The room was good and quiet.

I did not stay due to smell and poor condition. I originally planned on staying for four nights and was charged upfront for four nights. Although I stayed no nights I was charged for all four nights. It feels like robbery. I had to find another hotel and it was so nice and worth it to leave this place.

Roaches. Yuck. Room smell of heavy smoke. Just spent the extra for better.

The smell was unbelievable inside and out. The bathroom sink was broken and patched with some kind of cement. There were people on the porch eating and playing loud music at 10 pm so we left and found another local motel to stay in. We just forfeited our money for nothing.

Room rink of cigs. But you get what you pay for I guess. I just used it to shower for a concert cause I traveled out of town. Didn’t stay but it smelled like nothing but cigarettes

Toilet was messed up kept stopping up, spider webs everywhere, sheets were dirty, door had a large crack where anything could crawl through it, tub wasnt clean, refrigerator falling down when opened

Check in was quick. Stairs were a bit uneven. Room was clean.

I didnt actually stay at this motel. I booked it because I was traveling across country with my dog and 2 cats and they have it listed as PET FRIENDLY! I go to check in and they said they don't allow cats. So they are DOG FRIENDLY NOT PET FRIENDLY! They false advertise. They have PET FRIENDLY listed on their website. They are not PET FRIENDLY. They said they only allow DOGS. Therefore they are DOG FRIENDLY NOT PET FRIENDLY! They need to advertise what they actually are. I had to find another motel at 1030pm after I had been driving all day.

Property was well lit

The only positive is that we weren’t sleeping outside and we had a door between us and the outside.

Im from out of town visiting family. Rooms were not properly cleaned, floors sticky and dirty. Rooms smelled like Mary Jane. Rooms need repairs done. Property poorly maintained.
