Comfort Inn Horsham - Philadelphia

Staff was excellent. Room and hotel wwre poorly lit, smelled of weed everywhere, did not seem clean. We left and got another hotel

When I entered my room, it appeared relatively clean at first. However, upon closer inspection, it was clear that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. There was visible dust and dirt in the corners, hair on the blankets, and even hair on the iron. When I pulled back the blankets, I discovered that the comforter was soaking wet, as if it had been taken directly from the washing machine and placed on the bed before it had dried. The mattress underneath was also wet. I contacted the front desk and was told that housekeeping had already left for the day, even though it was only around 7:00 p.m. They said there was not much they could do but might be able to find some sheets and a blanket. I was also told that they could not bring the items to my room and that I would have to come downstairs to get them. The replacement bedding consisted of an oversized fitted sheet and a scratchy blanket, neither of which addressed the fact that the mattress was still wet. When I explained that this was unacceptable, I was moved to another room on the same floor. Unfortunately, the second room was even worse. Both beds were soaked through to the mattresses because the comforters were wet, and the chair and ottoman were also soaking wet. The front desk eventually brought up additional sheets they had found, but that did nothing to solve the problem of the wet mattresses or the damp bedding.

Handicap accessible room had uneven floor s, no luggage racks , no bathroom counter space . And only one person to help with check in ..room needs considerable update ie painting , trim etc

It was great and the bed fantastic

The rooms were clean. The bathroom did not have a counter or any place to hang towels. Our room was right by fire doors and there was no way to shut the doors quietly, so every time anyone went through them, they banged shut very loudly. Hard to sleep through that. Also, some of the guests smoked pot and the smell was pretty overwhelming.

Rooms were outdated, there was water marks or possibly mold in the corner of the bathroom ceiling. There was no coffee in the lobby after breakfast and the water in the lobby tasted like it had a fake lemon added, or pine sol lemon. Not enough tables at breakfast for the amount of people. The staff was all very nice and friendly. Overall not worth the price.
