Ramada by Wyndham Houma

Property is pretty sketchy looking. Lobby smells of mold. Many rooms are taken by people who live there full time. The nicest room on the website with the jacuzzi is permanently rented out to someone who lives on the property. Like that have pet cats going in and out. Very motel ish not very hotel ish I had surgery a few minutes up the road so I mainly cared about the drive and didn’t do as much research as I should have. The room was decently clean and there were no bugs which was great. But that is it. I wouldn’t ever book there with my family or go there ever again. Way better options and I should have researched more

Stains was on the sheet and cover. To many loud noises from people outside. Kept me up all night. Other than that it was okay place

The bed was very comfortable. The man who worked the desk that night was so nice and nice looking. The coffee pot in the room was broken and had water in it.

The room was filthy. Mold on the floor in more than 1 area. Advertised that I had a choice of Queen or Double beds. I paid more for Queen beds. At the front desk, my husband was told they do not have Queen beds there at all. My son has horrible allergies and was triggered staying there and was up all night. We should have left, but we had an event to attend right after check-in, so we left so quickly. Tried calling them to take care of it, but only 1 person was working at the front desk, and she was pretty busy. We tried 5 times, and Expedia could not get through to them either. We did not use any amenities.

I usually don't leave a bad review but this was horrible. The first room I was given had a dead bug on the sheet with eggs and a bug on the floor. I went to the front desk and the gave me a new room. Less than 10 minutes later someone else unlocked and walked in to the room. We were both surprised by the mistake. Needless to say I called the front desk again and was told they would "rekey" my room 😒. There was construction everywhere on site, workers were walking around without shirts, there was clear mold on the ceiling, and the bathroom only had a couple of towels for 4 people. I ended up changing hotels all together and went down the road to Wingate by Wyndham who didn't have a pool but had a much more pleasant experience.

I like the location and I like the rate that you can get on Booking.com. Every time I go there, something is broken or not working correctly. It’s very disappointing and one time I didn’t even have a fridge in my room.
