Was exactly what was needed for my family to stay together and connected while we we dealt with the primary reason for being in Houston's Medical District. Each day we came back to a beautiful, comfortable, clean and perfect environment and views. Had dinner together around the table after cooking a nice meal in our kitchen. Able to still have privacy in each of our separate bedrooms. The apartment was just perfect... almost as perfect as the chocolate chip walnut cookies handed out every night from the staff. Thank you for alleviating what could have been a very stressful few days.

We were thoroughly impressed with the outstanding service provided by the staff. Checking in early for our family gathering was a huge help, and we're extremely grateful for the flexibility. Thank you for making our stay special.

The kitchen cabinet doors were greasy. Utensils were minimal and the kitchen only had 2 pots. There was no knife for cooking, no kitchen towels, no dish soap, no paper towels, just 1 packet a dishwasher powder. The mattresses in the room with the 2 queen beds were uncomfortable to sleep on, and the pillows flattened in no time. The couch had a large permanent stain on it, and the couch pillows were flat and worn. The bathrooms were clean, but the wallpaper looked worn. Parking was $25 per day, but it was very difficult to find a spot after 5 pm. The hotel uses the Intercontinental hotel's parking garage for overflow but the walk to and from the garage in the humidity is inconvenient, and the Double Tree will only validate the Intercontinental ticket one time/day even though they charge their hotel guests $25 per day. Parking was frustrating.

We won't be staying here or with this hotel chain ever again. Hard, dried stains on the carpet, dishwasher was rusted inside with no wheels on the bottom rack and pieces of the rusted top rack broken and fallen in the bottom of the dishwasher, then the dishwasher leaked profusely out onto the floor. There was zero parking available and their horrible security guard named Domingo (?) was rude and absolutely unhelpful. Wasted money for a crappy hotel. Skip this one, people.

Good location for the medical center, and decent rates. The breakfast was very good.

The shower did not work. Not a very nice area of the medical center. I won’t stay there again.

You can smell exactly the old carpets in corridors . Even the water bottles in the room are not free of charge. For the rate offered you could make it complimentary. Pillows were also smelly , but clean somehow.

The suite gave us a lot of space; great for a multigenerational family group. The only problem was that although I had confirmed ahead of time the number of beds (2 beds in second bedroom) and type of bathroom (walk in shower in second bedroom) when we checked in that type of room was not available (were given a suite with a queen bed and bathtub in second bedroom). The staff was helpful in the sense that they told us that we could switch to the other type of room at our convenience on the following day. But by that point we had already settled in and figured out how to work around the layout that we had received and just stayed put.

Would like hot water provided by front dessert for morning coffee. I bring my own coffee but need hot water only.
