Horrible experience, the pictures are not of this hotel. The Rooms, the property all bad the smell inside it was awful

The staff was not very friendly. There were only two towels in the room. The elevators did not work. The pool was closed. There were roaches. And breakfast was only a small pack of muffins.

Beautiful nature

OK.. we booked this for a bed 1 night after cruise room.. to get to teh airport at 7 AM. They were able to get us in a little bit early.. but only after asking and getting told no.. and asking again.. THERE WAS NO LOBBY.. just needed a little spot to sit till check in. They did get a room ready..but on walking in.. it smelled really bad and was pretty dirty.. but we had checked in early! After a short while.. My husband turned around and found a roach crawling across the bed!! NO FREAKING WAY.. If it were just me.. I might have considered.. BUT.. I know if there is 1 bug.. there are likely more...AND that just was not acceptable. On talking to the lady behind the glass (NO OTHER WAY) . she said they had informed the owner ... but they hadn't gotten to it yet..AND it was Sunday. I wanted to feel bad for her.. but I also was knew they already had our $$ and we had to go elsewhere. We called the hotel next door.. But the gal on the phone hung up when my husband asked if they had any roaches?? Guess that was the answer. Soo.. Went around the corner to Hilton Garden Inn and paid $180 for the room there (Howard Johnson was $88). It was really a Travelodge.. but the signs were both there! I had booked it knowing it was a How Johnson.. i should have looked at reviews.. but it was a good $$ and we were just a12 hour sleep and leave! bOOKING.COM ONLY REFUNDED US $11.50 OF THE COST.. SO i AM GOING TO DISPUTE WITH THE CREDIT CARD! An important note is that they phone number WILL NOT BE ANSWERED at this hotel.. I tried before we got off ship.. for a day and a half.. No luck.. guess I should have been red flag aware! PEST COONTROL.. Maybe offer some kind of lobby or place to stay until rooms are ready for the MANY cruise passengers.

For the price, can't be to picky.

I couldnt made the checkin the guy at the checkin window which is right on the street since there is no physicall lobby inside the hotel, just told me that my reservatoin was cancelled by me, which of course was not true, I never cancelled my reservation but the guy had no other response other than blame to me for something I didnt do. Never stay at this hotel.

Price The location is wrong, I never found the place.

Terrible and very dirty place

on june 22 i get room from Howard Johnson and then when i came to my room was so dirty,and smells so bad! i canceled my room!

Bad smell House keeping did not come for 4 days Bed sheets had sigaretes burns Sink was filled with sigaret buds No staff can speak English

Desagradable experiencia. Muy sucio todo sin aire acondicionado, con microondas y neveras en muy mal estado. Demasiadas cucarachas y chinches que incluso llegaron a picarme durante la estadía en la noche y fue preferible salirnos antes de tiempo.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had to go through. Dirty sheets, bed bugs, and cockroaches found in the bathroom. Booked two nights and did not even last an hour in the room. Highly recommend to stay away from this hotel. Currently trying to get a refund.

It's close to the Hobby airport. The hotel and accommodations were found to be in an unsatisfactory state. Despite a reservation for five nights, I was unable to occupy the room for even a single night. The online images of the room and hotel are not reflective of their current condition. The room presented with an unpleasant odor, the bathroom facilities were in disrepair, and the hotel overall appeared to be aged and poorly maintained.

Room had roaches and tub with peeling paint. Property is run down but for under $50 a night you really shouldn't be expecting much.

Lots of parking, easy check in and check out.

Walked in my room seen 8 roaches and left out Didn't stay
