Residence Inn by Marriott Houston by The Galleria

The room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and was musty. It gave me a headache and trouble breathing, check in was slow because there wasn't anyone at the desk for a while and they were unavailable when I wanted to check out early due to dissatisfaction. The posted breakfast hours were also incorrect, so we missed that as well.

The elevator on our side didn't work, but other than that the front office man was nice and telling us about the property and he was friendly.

Location Smell and not so convenient

Location- did not notice and bugs in room Won't stay here again by choice, the door was exterior entry like a motel, there was light coming in from under the door as well as cig smoke and weed smoke. There were disabled smoke alarms, NO GLASSES WERE EVEN PROVIDED IN KITCHEN OR BATHROOM. How could anyone extended stay or cook here? Or even get a glass of water here? The "breakfast" was far from that description. They had small prepackaged muffins hot water, instant coffee individual serve, packets of oatmeal, no milk, no juice, no bottled water nada... the category of includes breakfast needs to be removed from this lodging.

I like the layout of the room Stairways smelled like stale urine and my room sheets smelled like dog pee. I also had to request towels because there were only two towels for four people

False advertising number two: website says hot buffet breakfast! They had grab and go but nothing was ever out Also: elevator near room not working, pool closed all three nights we were there, room never serviced even though we called to ask and was told they would but they never came, tv remote not working when we go there, we had to call twice to come fix it. He finally came but never fixed it! At checkout, no one was in lobby so i just left the key on counter! Waited 20 minutes!

Front Desk staff were great, especially Trey was very helpful. The outside and carport areas needing some cleanliness. The staircase by section 7-8 was dirty and smelled like a smoking station. There was no food for breakfast…that was very disappointing.

Location near good places Room service are not good.Rooms are with smoky smell.Cocroaches are roaming around.Not even a complementary water , coffee sachets and cups .The bathroom shower is broken even the bathtub drain is not working.

The area it was located In The floors were all stained up and pet hair on the furniture and there was no hot water in the kitchen

I liked that the pool stayed open and the room was decent. First thing walking into the room we found a bag of drugs in the bed my baby was going to be sleeping on, the elevator was broken so we had to walk 3 sets of stairs every time we needed something and they have good cameras but could see who broke into the people's truck beside my car.

Nothing Everything

It was a great location, close to the place where I was attending an event, but about half the cost! It was also right across the street from the Galleria Mall, so I walked over there both nights to get food and get some walking in. After sitting all day in the event, I needed to move around! The room was also very large, and the bed was quite comfortable. Many times I don’t sleep well when I’m away from home, but I slept great here! I would wholeheartedly recommend it!! I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in the area. There was nothing about it that I didn’t like.

The location was great, the rooms were like little apartments, very cute. We didn't have any cups, plates, utensils

It was suppose to have 2 sleeper sofas that I paid for. Only had 1.

Extended Stay America Suites is located in a beautiful area with many beautiful places, restaurants, shops. The number is very big, clean and comfortable. The pool was closed
