Great place nice area nice hotel

I would not recommend if you object to dogs - lots of dogs. In the restaurant, in the halls etc (can only assume sleeping in the beds). NOT A DEAL breaker - however, I think it would be nice if there was a optional "pet friendly" room option.

The only problem was that the room wasn’t ready until 4:20. Doesn’t sound like a big deal but when you spend over $1200 for a single night you expect the room to be ready. It was a long day with 2 children under 2 and to be told you have to wait and there wasn’t an anticipated time to be ready. We love the Kimpton and we will stay here again; this just wasn’t the service I have grown to love.

The staff was very friendly. The room and environment were excellent

Everything was provided for your day at the beach so all you had to pack was sunscreen and a bathing suit. Very convenient.

Stayed for 2 nights and was pleasant. Room clean, staff courtesy. Would come back.

We had brunch our first morning and it was DELISH!! The espresso martinis are a MUST! Our server was so sweet and fun to talk to. We had the same vibe and likes that her recommendation for my meal was SPOT ON to what I would like. In all we enjoyed EVERY minute of our stay. The beach towels and chairs they have for guests when going to the beach were clutch. It is a perfect location so close to the beach, pier, shopping, and plenty of other places to try eating. We cannot wait to go back!

Beautiful , fun , clean

Loved everything about this hotel. It's truly lovely....felt very homey and had very positive vibe. It was my first time staying here and I will be back. First of all....the location is perfect. Steps to everything...Mainstreet, beach, Pier, coffee shops, CVS, restaurants, etc. Secondly, everyone was incredibly hospitable and helpful start to finish.....bell hop, front desk services, restaurant/bar, daily amenities...coffee, happy hour, beautiful outdoor area with lovely fire pits and s'mores, games, a catalog of albums to pick from to take to your room to play on the turntable. The rooms were very comfortable and clean....and room services very helpful if needed. My ocean view was an added bonus for sure! And well worth it! I will be back. Huntington Beach is one of my favorite places to be! And I found another fabulous place to stay! Thank You! :)

Staff were amazing and property was great. Only downfall was they don’t have any pet relief areas on property.

Pros: Location is the best. It’s downtown, walking distance to Main Street, Boardwalk & the Pier. The beds are very comfortable, rooms are clean. Room provides lux bath robes, yoga matts and small cooler. The hotel also provides free bikes & surfboards. Lots of fun activities in the courtyard & free beer & wine every day from 5:00-6:00. Cons: no pool, no in room coffee.
