It was nice place to stay but the price u see on Expedia is not the price you will pay once u arrive.

I was seriously delayed at work that evening so I wasn't able to get to check in until 4am. I was told that my reservation was cancelled at 2am as was the policy. I argued that I wasn't aware of the policy and was denied access to the room and my card had already been charged. SO I SLEPT IN MY CAR THAT NIGHT!!!! Unacceptable!

Avoid this place at all costs. The rooms were incredibly dirty and had a terrible, stale smell the moment we walked in. The furniture was practically falling apart, broken, and worn down to the point of being completely ruined. To make matters worse, we had to change rooms and found both dead and live cockroaches in two different rooms. It was a completely unacceptable and unsanitary experience.

Close to stadium. Nearby 7-11. Helpful staff

I am writing to provide feedback on my recent stay at WoodSpring Suites Washington DC East Arena Drive. My experience was not good. There was no room cleaning service provided, and no towels or soap were available in the room. I expected the standard amenities of a hotel, but this property felt more like a low-budget motel. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration

STAFF EXTREMELY RUDE! from house keeping to front desk.
-
My room was clean and the staff was very helpful.

Had roaches.
-
We checked out 1 day early. There were roaches in the room.
-
Lobby was clean that was it, we left at 1am after coming back to our room to find ROACHES running all over the floor picked up the phone to call front desk dead roaches all underneath it. Front desk staff said it's a hotel people live in as if that's an excuse for roaches. Waiting to speak with the manager.

It was a good stay

Extended Stay location. Great if you’re not expecting bells and whistles.

Outside of hotel seemed cool, however the inside was a little sketchy. Hallways were filthy and smelled horrible. Vending machines were overpriced, thank goodness theres a 7-11 right there. Parking was good. My room was dirty, i always clean with wipes and disinfectant but my goodness. The floors were gross. The remote from the tv was even filthy. Around 2pm, someone opened my door, Thank God the top hook was latched, so they couldnt come all the way in. The front desk lady was going to tell management bc the person who opened my door key worked. So, does all the keys work to every room or was it a mistake giving someone the key??? IDK. Room was greatly overpriced, I understand a concert was in town but sheesh. Bed was comfy, however they only give 2 flat pillows. I am highly surprised that this is a Choice Hotel. I wouldnt stay by myself if I needed a place to stay, and I wouldnt bring children here.

The location was great considering we went to a concert at the stadium across the street. However the building and rooms are pretty gross. There is an odor as soon as you walk in to check in as well as throughout the entire building. Beds are hard. Furniture is worn down. The “blanket” was essentially a sheet it was so thin. Honestly it’s overpriced for the quality. Staff was friendly though. Would not recommend. Would not stay again.

Room wasn’t clean before we entered . There was literally soap residue still left in the shower from the previous guest. The bed was stripped , no pillows , no sheet , no blankets. There was no towels , no lotion , no soap , not even a wash cloth but the one the previous guest left hanging . The hallways smell horrible. There was a roach in the bathroom crawling around. The mattress protection cover had a large yellow stain on it. The chair in the corner looked like an angry cat scratched it up and tore the material up. The staff are a little too chill and nonchalant. The initial guy who helped us was nice but moved with no urgency considering how it busy at the time. When we got from the concert (1am) and asked for blankets we were told they charge for extra blankets . Once we told her of the concerns with the room she came up to see how the room was and said “I wouldn’t be surprised “ after seeing the room. We are supposedly getting a refund but not 100% sure yet. The pictures of the site are very misleading. If you don’t have more than $170/200 to stay somewhere for a game or concert nearby you will have a place to lay your head but you have to be a HUGE minimalist and you can’t be easily grossed out. We ended up gathering our stuff back up and left. Did not stay the night. Nooooo thanks . 3/10 rating .

The room appeared clean, the floor was dirty. The bathroom was nasty. Toilet had not been cleaned and there was hair everywhere in the bathroom. The bathroom floor had not been cleaned. The bed cover had a stain on it.
