DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Largo/Washington DC

Excellent stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service exceeded my expectations. Great location, comfortable rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere made my stay enjoyable. The only issue is they are not even providing complimentary water bottles even if it 105F.

Our day started off terribly. The hallway was stifling, thick, and muggy, and our room had an unpleasant odor. To make matters worse, when my husband opened the closet, he discovered a dead roach inside. From midnight to 4 AM, our neighbors were loud and obnoxious, slamming doors, yelling, kids yelling, music blaring, and to top it off the loudest sex ever making it hard to sleep. When we raised these issues with the hotel staff, they simply told us there were no available rooms to move to, despite us checking the website and seeing that there were rooms open. In short, the conditions and customer service at this hotel do not align with what was advertised online. While I know Doubletree isn't a five-star hotel, I expected much better than this.

I did utilize the bar for dinner. It was fine. It is notable that like most Doubletree properties I’ve stayed at this year, they look a little run down around the heels. The elevator lobby was stifling hot. The elevator floor was cracked up just as you enter requiring me to look down and step carefully so I didn’t fall. The chair corners inside the room were worn through. However, it was clean and served the purpose, just not what I expected from a Hilton property. I’m a decades long fan and remember Conrad Hilton properties I made a point to stay at all over the US.

Don’t let all the reviews scare you. I almost skipped this hotel, but I’m glad I didn’t. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, the breakfast was good, and I had a great stay. I’d definitely consider staying here again

Perfect place, walls and ceilings are a bit thin so sound travels. Otherwise perfect place

The property is aging. They redid floors to vinyl in the room, nice stall shower. However, left an old fridge that froze our meds and fruit. The only 2 lamps in the room had non working bulbs. The indoor pool had cloudy water. Bed was newer and comfortable. I just expected higher standards from a Hilton Doubletree.
