Hilton Garden Inn Independence

Great location. Close to the interstate and traffic is very good. Just 8 minutes from Arrowhead. GOOO CHIEFS!!!!!

About a 4 sq ft area of carpet in front of the air unit was soaked and got our socks wet. The room smelled like mildew. The ceiling in the shower looked like it had black mold. There was trash by the fridge still. When checking out the staff was very friendly but the room should have never been made available for use. Couldn’t even enjoy our stay. We got in very late and couldn’t wait to check out.

Husband woke at 4am, to use the restroom. He fell and gashed his head on the bed rail. I took him to ER and he received 7 stitches. We came back at 7 am and went back to sleep til 10 am.

Friendly staff, convenient location close to Arrowhead Stadium The property is showing it’s age and needs remodeling in the corridors and rooms.

Hotel is currently being renovated during the day time and there are construction noises. They were offering ear plugs at the front desk

Great location, super nice staff! The hotel itself could use upgrades, there was no hot water both days we were there, not the end of the world but for some it might be. Besides that they did their best to keep the place clean. My friend and I used the small gym and I seen guests using the pool with no issues. I’d recommend if you want a place to lay your head down at night close to the football and baseball stadiums.

The only complaint I'd have is that we stayed in the west side of the building and there was a flashing billboard shining into my room all night due to not having blackout curtains

No problems. no objections. lighted, patrolled parking. good breakfast

The bed was comfortable. The room was nice. I was told breakfast was not included in the price I paid, but it was for others. That was off putting. The air conditioner was very loud. The staff only shared information if I asked about it.

Property has not been kept up to standards

Well maybe the size of the room. That’s about it. TV are not smart so you can’t stream with your accounts or cast from your phone. Pillows are super soft, once your head is on the it goes flat might as well not have pillow, rooms items and all is really old, this is more like old style Route 66 motel from that date
