My Place Hotel - Kansas City East/Independence, MO

It was all clean ans great thanks for the stay!

Hotel was clean but believed they carpet cleaned prior to stay and it wasn’t very pleasant along with adjoining room neighbors cooked something spicy in the mix so made arrival awful. We just dealt with it for our stay.

Again My Place is great!

This is our 4th My Place Hotel stay this week. A couple notes with regard to room 301: The window shade was broken so you can’t pull up the shade. The refrigerator/freezer door needs to be changed to hang on the right side because it blocks the entry door and is backwards to the kitchenette. Otherwise- the room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

We were traveling cross country and stayed in many spots. Surprisingly, this was one of our favorite.

There was no ice machine. No breakfast amenities.

We got there a little early for check in because of the Chiefs game and staff was very accommodating!

Staff was good but hotel needs lots of TLC. First room refrigerator did not work and stove top was filthy. Since there are ice makers in refrigerators in rooms but doesn’t work so no ice available. Beds average. Moved to new room. Shower head needed to be replaced so water squirted everywhere. Containers on wall empty shampoo and conditioner. Sink in bathroom missing nozzle in faucet so turn on and water sprays all over. No hot water or only a trickle for kitchen faucet. Hard to do dishes. When open refrigerator door turns off the lights as door swings wrong way. All little things but we were working 14 hour days in the not sun so little things mattered. We chose this hotel so we could cook breakfast and have a full sized refrigerator. Needed forks as I left at the work venue was my fault but no utensils available. Just too many little things. Had a 3rd room booked a for a business partner and ice maker did not work there either. Fourth room for another and only one bed not so sure what happened there. They purchased an air mattress. We will not return no fault of the staff as they were understanding.

I'm 66 and love a room with a recliner! having the other amenities in the room were also nice,

The desk clerk was friendly and informative when we checked in, the room was clean and spacious, and it had one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. Plugs were positioned so you can actually sit comfortably with your device. Wifi was reliable. There was no complimentary breakfast, just coffee, but there were a bunch of good food options very close by, some even in walking distance.
