Candlewood Suites Cleveland South - Independence by IHG

The convenience in location. The elevators did not work the entire time I was there.

The location had everything I needed, Stove, Full Refrigerator, Washer/Dryer. The only negative was that one of the elevators was out of order.

We booked this room last minute when our Air Bnb canceled. Our expectations weren’t high, especially because it was such a good price. We couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised when we arrived to a really nice room! The little kitchen had everything you could need, and not cheap rinky dink appliances, they were updated. Then, when I checked out the bathroom, not only was it clean, and also updated, they supplied dove products, including a little dove bar of soap. What really sold me and will have me booking with them again was the thoughtfulness when they thought to put makeup wipes on the vanity. 10/10 recommend and will be back to other locations as well!

“Live music and restaurant” was more a bar with a DJ that started at 9pm on Sat

Clean room, very nice. Staff were helpful and accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Booking showed that pool hours were 530-11 which is why this particular hotel was booked for kids to swim and hours were actually 9-9. Pool is shared and actually holiday inn pool so must get pool card from that hotel to use pool and was not informed of this until going to use the pool to find it was closed anyways

Very clean & one of the best prices in the area! There is a club in the Holiday Inn connected to the Candlewood Suites. Would be nicer though if there was a continental breakfast.

Kitchen was nice

The hotel was okay. The room was clean and it wasn't too noisy. My only complaint is with the parking. You have to park on one side of the building and then go all the way to the other side of the building to get to the only elevator. But the price was good and there were several restaurants close by.

The staff was very helpful even though they had some struggles The computer system was new and not working so check in no keys available and when I went out I needed to be walked to my room to be let in

Parking and overall access to building entrance

Newer, dog friendly, was so nice. Beds and pillows were great, it was quiet. Felt safe. There was a weird smell, like dyer sheets mixed with hot air in the hallway by the washer/dryer. I didn’t smell in the room and didn’t bother me. I’m sure some folks would be offended.

We had an enjoyable stay. Room was clean and staff were great. I love the connected bar/grill at the Holiday Inn, great for dining in although, there are many, many places to eat close by. But, if you dont feel like going out, you could walk right over, from the inside, to the Holiday Inn for breakfast and dinner, no lunch tho.

1. The hallways were not vacuumed and the same wrappers and food pieces were there for my entire stay. 2. Parking lot is kind of difficult and finding the main entrance isn’t easy.

With spending close to $1200 for 3 nights and finding out breakfadt isn't included, was pretty bad. To make it worse, they suggested we could go nect door to Holiday Inn for their buffet for about $8 but turned out to be $11.95!

Don’t stay here. Find another place. We will never stay here again.

Off the main road, parking was free, close to highway Even though the room appeared clean, it wasn’t the cleanest. The floor was very sticky, food crumbs under the desk, and a lot of stains on the towels.

Had a nice staff . Staff was very short on conversation.
