Decent place to stay!

I’d first like to add that yes you get what you payed for. Saying that, the room itself wasn’t bad, halls were filthy only one elevator worked and the door was scraping so bad it almost wore a hole in itself opening and closing. The pool was not functional nor was the hot tub, and the restaurant was not open. Oh and the snack section had barely anything in it. We had toddlers running up and down the halls and slamming doors literally from around 10pm and 2am, called front desk to complain and nothing happened. So yeah I’d say stay here if you’re looking for a quick one night stay, but don’t count in anything working. Made it home 4 hours later and took me a week needed nap.

The low rating this hotel has is for a reason. When I arrived, although I had already paid, I was informed that they had no rooms available. No communication beyond that, no help in other accommodations, no care or effort to refund my money. Although I had made a reservation and paid in full, I was treated like a pest and inconvenience by the rude front desk attendant. Absolutely miserable experience.

Every reason why I booked was closed the outside pool was closed the bar/restaurant was closed there was hair on my bathroom floor toilet paper had not been restocked nore the coffee cups in the room no towels blood on the bed the elevator door was dented and scraped every time it opened and shut the ive machine room looked TERRIBLE

when i checked in the hallway leading to a corroded elevator door with missing panels was trash everywhere, smelled like marijuana, and the room i checked in had no telephone and a tv that didnt work, no soap for showering and only one towel. From a safety stand point, whenever i had to step outside to smoke, at night i noticed a door on the side of the building, away from the front desk constantly propped open. i will never stay there again.

This place is horrible The first room they gave us smelled like dog urine. It was dirty, damp and nasty so I asked for another room. The room smelled better, but it was still dirty. I had a sliding glass door to go out to the courtyard which was completely broken anybody could’ve walked in and stole our stuff I wouldn’t. I would give it a negative the pool was broken, which was the whole reason we rented the place and this is the Wyndham and independence, Ohio. If I could add the pictures I took I definitely would !!!!!

We got to the hotel right around check in time and had a short wait to get to the front of the line as there was only one person working the entire front desk on their own. We checked in fairly quickly and headed to our room. We checked everything out and realized we had NO toilet paper anywhere, we checked everywhere for it. So we called down to the front desk and it rang and rang and rang and rang. We waited about a half hour and tried calling down again with the same result. So back down to the front desk I went and this time there was quite the line for check in so I waited about a half hour. I told the agent the issue and she handed me a roll of toilet paper, no apology though. I finally made my way back up the elevator which had a dead fish smell to it back to my room. The room was fine, it was clean, the bed was uncomfortable and the sofa provided wasn't much better. The tv was big and they offered a lot of channels which was nice. Overall I give the stay 3 stars, wouldn't stay again, glad it was only for 1 night.

Great Stay Friendly & Fast Service

Very, very bad service got me in trouble with my girl cause they took the soap and did not put it in the right. She thought I was in a hotel room before I even got there and my check was at 4 o’clock in the room. Steel was not clean.

We asked for our room to be cleaned on 7/4 while we were out, it did not happen and we had to call for towels several times, no extra toilet paper in room had to go to the front desk to get some. Housekeeping wasn't available most of the time during our stay. The ice machine wasn't working on the first floor had to go on another floor to get ice.

Me encanta el hotel..siempre me hospedó hay cada que viajo a este estado.la atención muy agradable la gente muy formal..pero esta vez..el jacuzzi no funcionaba. Los elevadores olían mal. No estaba muy bien haciado el hotel.. la jardineria afuera no le an hecho mantenimiento. El parqueadero muy sucio.los tarros de basura afuera estaban a rebosar😞😞..creo que se esta deteriorando.comparado a la última vez que me ospede 😔😔😔😔

The 1st room given to us was not cleaned, 2nd room no wash cloths.. Water never got hot Never saw a cart to load luggage.

The outdoor pool was closed! An has been for awhile according to other people. There was no hot water to take a shower.

Pool & Hot Tub was closed. Buffet food was cold.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Bed was comfortable a/c worked. That was it. Refrigerator broken, Sink clogged (which they would have noticed right away if it was cleaned.) No hot water, towels and washcloths not stocked only 1 elevator working, lobby was 85 degrees and kids running up and down hallway screaming all night. Go elsewhere trust me.

Very good

Very friendly staff. Clean. Satisfied my needs. One of the two elevators, not working. Some cosmetic damage, update needed. Good, clean, affordable hotel with friendly staff. Just what I needed.

Nice beach. Nice staff.
