Comfort Inn Independence - Cleveland

Great hotel, nice staff, location is amazing. Close to food, gas, and central to downtown cleveland.

Well to start with we changed rooms, because the 1st room had broken items in it. The 2nd room was not any better! Stains on curtains and blanket, bathroom fan didn’t work, hair in sink and shower, greasy film on furniture, toilet seat was loose, shower door handle was falling off, sink stopper was broken! These are the things I couldn’t fix, had to clean up after the housekeeper! I would not recommend this place! Since Expedia won’t let me put the price I paid for the room, let’s just say, don’t go here! The smell was horrible and the mattress was so soft! Need I say more?

Oldest Comfort Inn we have ever stayed in … Room smelled musty, room was clean but hotel itself needs updating.

Staff friendly, quiet, room needed an update but was still clean. We enjoyed our stay!

We arrived an hour early before check in time. Lady at the front desk was very nasty about us being there an hour early and repeated to us the check in time. Then the room that we were given was a handicap room which was not requested either. Not impressed with this place and won’t be going back!

I liked the ease of getting to the property. Right off the highway. Lots of stores, places to eat, within a few minutes of this hotel. My room was comfortable and met my needs

Nice place. We allowed to sit out in the dining area a d play cards with a few beverages. Thanks so much for the great check in (nameless male?) At our arrival.

The room we got was clean, but the door was not the greatest, it didn't shut well, I had to pull hard to make sure it locked and there was a gap between the door and the frame. the tv was blurry, it looked like double vision, and the refrigerator was warm, not cold at all, kept our bottles of water in our small cooler we brought. Overall, we just stayed for one night after seeing a concert, but had it been ant longer I would have requested another room because this one was like it was a leftover thrown together at the last minute. The staff that checked us in and out were very nice!

Our room had a strong musty odor permeating the entire room. It clung to the sofa and carpet. Very dated room.

Easy access to several restaurants

This property is in a tremendous need of renovations. Carpets everywhere were worn and even worn through in some high traffic places. The carpet in our room actually looked soiled in places until on closer look it was the worn out carpet making it look dirty. Final straw was when we got up in the morning early to get my wife to a 6 am.m. surgery the toilet was broken. On my way out I tried to grab a cup of coffee and the container was empty and no one was at the front desk. We have to return to the same hospital later but we won't be staying there.

Updates to the entry door of rooms. The look dated and old.

Breakfast buffet was hot, delicious and excellent! Front desk staff was professional and knowledgeable about area! Housekeeping staff was great!

Location was great, safe area. If the weather had cooperate the pool would have been great Room smelled damp, microwave didn't stay plugged in to be usable and floor tile was loose in the bathroom

The room was huge. Before linen and bath towels were pristine. Bed was comfy. Breakfast had lots of choices. Great for us on our way to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Convenient location, wonderful staff, good price!

Excellent since it had something for everyone. We were very happy with everything.
